Had a mouse nest in the clutch cover of my Polaris ATV. I didn't know it until I fired it up and the material blew out the vent.

I suspect there's a little stretching of the facts somewhere, everybody's 'research' shows their product is better than Brand X.

How can everybody be # 1 ?

I just know that based on extensive 'seat of the pants' research, the PS seems to work the best up here, on our engines.

As I said before, different strokes for different folks. No offence percieved or taken.

The other point is that this warning is for HYDRAULIC systems.

The componenets vary widely depending on the application, in some situations, such as food processing areas they actually use things like vegetable or straight mineral oil as a hydraulic fluid. This is in order to meet food quality safety standards which do not allow petroleum products in close proximity in case of a leak or spill.

So to answer your question, no, the synthetics are not any different, the seals are.

Yes I have the full cab enclosure. It helped somewhat but, again, I'm sitting right over the entire drive train.

Haven't seen the new .b's yet--wonder if NH would give me a trade in on it...

My power beyond kit cost about $250 installed. Other members have installed the kit themselves with little trouble. It requires removing one rear wheel and a fender.

I am in the research stage and it appears that you can not get a 3430HST with factory cab and BH90 backhoe. Anyone have a factory cab Kubota and a hoe on the 3430 or 3830? Checking the archives I have found a larger Grand L with a Woods hoe (apparently 3ph) that uses an extension. For those that have the factory cab what is your opinions? Is it a worthy 6k add on? I mostly am interested in the cab for snow removal comfort but would like to hear comments about them for finish mowing / brush cutting. I will be mowing a couple acres and rough cutting several also but not as frequently. My snow removal duties usually take 3-4 hours per snow (including all the relatives and friends)(Pennsylvania weather). I am also considering the John Deere 3000 series that is to be coming out soon. Any comments on John Deere 30 - 35 HP compacts with cab and backhoe would also be appreciated.

Most all are 3 bundles to a square. Some of the thicker shake-like shingles are 4 bundles to a square.

Yes it will, but you may want to cover the studs on the back side with house wrap in case you ever have to replace a piece of tin...that way, the expensive insulation will remain intact while fixing the damaged piece.

Mine is a 95' 355 spider. 410 approx hp. I paid $85k & that was upposed to be good deal. Call any Ferrari dealer, Ask then how often & much money Tune ups & maintenance is required & cost. I think you will be shocked when you hear the answers. Make sure your sitting down...lol.

My wife and I both like to travel and the majority of our trips have been in the USA and the Caribbean. A few years ago our friends wanted to take a cruise to Alaska, the wife didn't want to go, she likes to cruise. Her comment, it will be cold.

I promised her a trip to Hawaii, which I had no desire to go. We did both trips and she liked Alaska and I liked Hawaii. We plan to return to both places.

We agree together on trips, unless it's a company paid trip, and she just tags along. I tend to make all of the arrangements and allow time for what she wants to do, shopping.

We have two other couples we travel with and most of the time we split up during the day and get back together for dinner.

As someone else said, you need to compromise. We have been married for 36 years. If you cheerfully agree to go on the trip, then she will probably agree to a shorter time.

Like I said, I feel your pain also, we are the same way. Heck we have it so bad that every time the COLA goes up so many points the GAS tax automatically rises also. The state dont even have to vote on a tax increase here. It is built right into the system and NO legislator has to take the heat for asking for it. That stinks!

Not a plumber but helped dig a few lines (septic) up. If you travel over the area with vehicals especially or clear the snow from the area regularily, I would go atleast 6'. where you are why take the chance for that extra foot or so. Also if you come up from the depths outside you should insulate it heavily. Anouther suggestion is, if you only go 3-4 foot down (which is dangerous) make sure you place 1-2" pink styrofoam over the top of the pipes maybe a foot or so wide, this will help keep the ground from freezing under the insulation.

I was looking up what kind of a machine a BX23 was and noticed it was not listed under the "all makes listing" but was listed under the Kubota listing, why is this so? It had very few specs (no power) provided. I then looked up JD 4300 (my model) and there was no listing. Question is, how do I add my model to the list, and if so could you suggest that each member make an effort to ensure their model is listed. Much appreciated. BTW have not heard from you how I can help with the specs section after you solicited help from folks - is this still in process?<br>
