Always have a "rollover plan". That is, think about the situation and the possibilities just before you enter a rollover situation. That way if it does happen, you wont be caught offguard. You will have mentally rehearsed what you need to do to either avoid it or keep yourself safe. Its almost like preplanning the rollover in your head. This technique will keep you from doing instinctive things like sticking body parts out to catch yourself or trying to climb out of the safe zone in the event of a rollover. It will also help avoid a rollover by keeping you alert to the danger which will speed up your reaction time and help you make the right decisions. Ive only been tractoring for a short time (about 2 years but mostly on the side of a hill) but Ive been off-roading and rockcrawling with my Jeep for several years and this is what I do to keep myself upright and safe while in the Jeep.

Whew! Neutocrete is some expensive stuff. It is concrete mixed with vermiculite for light weight and so it won't flow. For 2" thick, $9 per square foot to start, plus cleanup, sealing, drain, etc. I can build a garage for less than that. The salesman even said you have to be in a lot of pain to justify it. I am going to look into shotcrete or gunite? like they reline silos and pools with. anybody know how much that runs. He also does the icynene for $3 sq ft and 2 lb. closed cell for $3 sq ft, and polyurea for $6 sq ft.

I am also in the beginning stages of building forks for my 4300. I even went out and bought a whole forklift to scavenge parts from. I got it for $300 with 2 sets of forks, 3 stage mast and side shift. I planned to use the carriage and forks but forklift carriages are very heavy duty and very heavy so I am just keeping the forks and copying my skid steer fork carriage. It just uses a piece of 2"x4" rectangle tube at the bottom, 4" side down, and 2x2 at the top and sides with 1/2" bar stock welded on for the forks to slide on. There is some other metal attached for sides and backguard.

I got a 45x75x14 all steel I-beam building with 4/12 pitch, poly carb skylights, two framed openings 12x12 and 14x12, a 4' personel door with lock and hardware, gutters and down spouts, 2 operating ridge vents delivered for around 18-19k. There were a couple of minor things missing and a couple of beam holes in the wrong spot, but not too much. Before I could get them to send me the missing door trim, they were out of business, but the building is great.

One person needs to have the final say in matters. If a even number makes decisions then yes there has to be give and take. I joke with my bride all the time (and she hates it). I tell her that in the last 19 years there has only been one disagreement between my deer hunting group. We stay together for 9+ days sometimes and only have had 1 disagreement!!!! I challenge her to take 6 or more of her girl friends and put them under one roof for more than 3 days and come back with the same results! IT WONT HAPPEN!!!! they would be killing each other after the second night or at the very least after the week. Something about putting women in charge andn then giving and taking dont seem to be the best situation. All I have to say is they are damm lucky they are the only ones that can make babies or they would of been exterpalated years ago! Most usless creatures on earth otherwise! And they want equal rights!!! BAh Humbug!!!<br>

I thought I should let the forum know:

And I could have saved more, If I had assembled it myself. I don't know what their price is now, but I did talk with one of their personnell the other day and he said that they have a few tractors on display,, but that most were sold before they get off the ship in New Orleans. It sounds like the oil is leaking from the relief valves at the top of the hydro. There are pins at the top which are pushed down by the release lever when you are pushing the tractor. One valve is in the reverse circuit and one in the forward circuit. Newer tractors and the replacements have automatic releases with vent holes rather than pins. I don't know of any repair kits or repair procedures. They will have to be replaced.

I have the 4110 with the 410 FEL and the widest bucket, 60 or 63 (whatever) and 95% of the time I love having the wide bucket. My driveway is 600 feet long and paved, buzzing down there with a few inches of snow or moving branches and gravel... you name it... it is nice and it is perfect for grading dirt and such. I do have the R4's too, but "seat of the pants" tells me that with very wet dirt of heavy ballast stone you can scoop more than it is comfortable with. I also have the 46 backhoe - which is 1000 lbs on the back - that is great counter weight which may be helping my situation.

Many stations switch pumps over to kerosene in the winter or very cold weather for heating purposes. Kerosene generally runs about $.50/gal higher than diesel.<br>

There hain't no way that station is going to sell anywhere near as many gallons of Kerosene as the gallons of diesel their completion across town is pumping into those 18 wheelers and big ole dump trucks.<br>

While I was there at Speedway the competitor over town probably filled a semi or two with diesel.<br>
Nobody bought any Kerosene at Speedway.<br>

The BP where I paid 205 for diesel is by the interstate exit.<br>
Speedway with the 250 plus tax Kerosene is in a residential area inside the city limits.<br>

a friend of mine has 3 buildings for his buisness , they are 75x125 metal insulated, with sheetrock. the first 2 are oil forced hot air with programable thermostates that lower the temperture after everyone leaves at night. The third building he was talked into radiant floor heat. After it was fully adjusted it usses less oil then the first 2. he also keeps the temp. a little less then the other 2 but it feels nicer.Something else he found out was that it doesn't spread the dust around as much.

The power beyond kit is the hydraulic circuit for backhoes, log splitters, etc that have their own control levers. The 3rd valve kit is just another pair of outlets like on the loader, with a control lever that goes on the right fender just in front of the cup holder. The 2 kits are independant of each other and you can add one or the other or both, it is just a shame to take the tractor apart to only add one kit if you think you may want both.

I have never owned a rubber snake.

I did, however, have a rubber chicken for several years.

I can imagine what I might do with a rubber snake, but it remains a mystery to me as to what you are supposed to do with a rubber chicken.

I guess it is just supposed to hang somewhere and be what it is....??

I have a 85 honda 200 M 3 wheeler and used to flog it almost daily through high school. I even rode it to work on the road everyday. It sat mostly through college. I called an add for a guy looking for one and them talked him out of it when he came because I demoed it for him and then couldn't part with it. I still have it and I won't part with it. It has never been in the shop and only recently the rear brakes wore out. My dad is one who wouldn't let me park a Japanese car in his drive, but won't buy anything but a honda 4 wheeler. He has an 88 4x4 and just bought a new 4x4. Kept the old one and it has never been in the shop. He doesn't even service it. Air filter has never been open. It runs just like when he bought it. I am no fan of shifting though and would rather have some other tranny. I am not that fond of belts but they seem to work decent enough. I would like to try Honda's newer CVT since it is constantly variable and has no belts. You can even switch it to a 5 or 6? set ratio shift pattern if you like although the electronics worry me a little. My neighbor has a polaris 4x4 and says he likes it and would buy another but it seems to often have little problems. Starter, exhaust, ignition switch etc. He isn't used to something that just doesn't break very often, and the polaris hasn't had any major problems.
