Has anybody tried to build something like this yourself?<br>
I had thought of using a string trimmer or a rotary push mower to build something like it.<br>

Broken, disconnect your battery for 1/2 hour then reconnect. The check engine light may not come back on.

My Jeep dealer gave me a very complicated explanation of the check engine light. Anything as simple as gas fumes at the pump can make it come on. The Jeep must make several "trips" without further problems before the check engine light shuts off. A trip is not a key start to key start. Rather it is some algorithm that determines how many times the vehicle started at a particular "state" and returns to the same "state". By "state" I mean a combination of measurements like temperature, oil pressure, etc. This could all be nonsense but that is what the dealer told me.

#6 screws are about the same diameter as roofing nails, so they should not be a problem.

Fasten a level onto the control panel so you will always set your feet so the unit is setting level. Makes digging a lot easier.

Has anyone looked into changing out the 20a alternator on the 2210 to a larger one? With all my lights and the cab heater running it's obvious I'm exceeding its limits.<br>

psimonson - thanks for the reply. I'm glad I did yank on that PTO knob!

Does taking off the steering wheel gain any meanful room to work? As long as I can get my "fat" fingers and hand behind the dash I guess I'll be OK.

I wonder over the results. The Hytran is a little thicker oil like a 10 weight to a 5 then the Super UDT so it should bring the tightness up a little and might hurt with a little more starvation during cold starts. The engine oil was probably good on two fronts, used oil hurts performance and newer slipperier synthetic has to help. The tires, now that is a good one as you should have been able to produce the most torque and throttle response with the smaller diameter tire. I wonder if we are really starting to break in that engine? If your happy I'm happy!

PETERS: A Dodge Perkins???---Didn't Dodge only use the Perkins in their taxi cabs back in the late 50's / early 60's? (I'm too young to remember) I came across that info. in my Perkins Service Manual when I was rebuilding my skid loader engine.

Tks for the comments. I guess I misunderstood the dealer about the MMM. As regards the FEL, I'm a bit surprised at the time it took for the first time removal. I get the impression that the Kubota and JD series are non at all difficult, even for the novice.

98 have you considered a Rhino hoe? Rhino makes the NH oem hoes, but rhinos are much cheaper. I payed over $1600.00 less for a Rhino 75 which is identicle to a NH 757. Good luck.

Mike you didn't tell us what he wants for it to begin with as it might already be a steal. For the package I'd say around 13,000 would be a good price or normal market for this area. New would be at round retail prices, 16000 for the tractor, 3000 for the BH brand loader, 1500 for the blower and about 800 to 900 depending on the model for the bush-hog.

Every dealer prices differently just like anything else. If the dealer gives trade allowances off retail then naturally the trade-in allowance is going to be high. We see it all the time as it makes people feel they have a higher resale. JD dealers have been doing it for years and it has worked for them.
