I was price/dealer shopping yesterday, and spoke to the owner of a Kioti dealership about a CUT. <br>
<br>
When discussing mowers, I seem to remember the dealer saying that it would require about three hours to remove a mid-mount mower (KRM03-72?) from the CK20 model. And, when I got good at it, it would take only one hour.<br>

Did I understand the dealer correctly? Does it really take that long to reconfigure MMM on the Kioti tractor?<br>

How about the FEL for the CK20? Is that attachement difficult to remove/install?<br>

Just bought a B7100 with Hydostatic Transmission that does not move. After letting it run for a short time and shuting it down, I noticed that if you remove the transmission filter it has a lot of suction on it. That's the only clue I have so far. Any ideas?

Make sure you put the weights on FLAT side out.
Look at parts list for correct mounting, number and locations of washers. Parts list calls for 1/2" mounting hardware but 5/8" fits.

Bob, That MMM and FRONT? mount blower sell for 2700.00 or more each. I think that is what you should watch is the attch. prices. The Tires should not matter (much)? Most<br>
I've seen are priced with a loader,and I believe they all have ROPS. I would price the basic tractor and mower and blower separately. You can buy those anywhere later,nothing to putting them on.<br>
The Tax question: It would depend on the computer system PA. has. By filing a title lien do you bring up a sales tax flag. I would doubt it, but possible. The dealer says no sales tax! But is that in his state?<br>
I know here in Maine it is the buyers who are suppose to claim out of state purchases on the state tax forms.<br>
This includes internet sales I believe? No one does it, but they are coming for those dollars and offered an amnesty<br>
program to all who owed it earlier this year.<br>
It was also pointed out that these conversations can show up with a search on google. Try it,kubota sales tax, or tractor sales tax etc.<br>
I also remember something about a Federal form that gets <br>
filed? UCC? perhaps someone with more knowledge on that will chime in.<br>
I would buy it , stick it in the shed and keep my mouth shut about the details.<br>
One more thing if you are going to blow a lot of snow, get a cab. it is on top of my list. As we are having our first snow as I write this. Not much, just<br>
enough to take up my Sun. doing all those unfinished chores. Good luck,<br>

I've been reading this topic for a while now and I would have to side with Archdean on this one.# 1 rings function as the seal between the piston and the cylinder wall and also act to reduce friction by minimizing the contact area between the piston and the cylinder wall. The rings are usually made of cast iron and coated with chrome or molybdenum. Most diesel engine pistons have several rings, usually 2 to 5, with each ring performing a distinct function. The top ring(s) acts primarily as the pressure seal. The intermediate ring(s) acts as a wiper ring to remove and control the amount of oil film on the cylinder walls. The bottom ring(s) is an oiler ring and ensures that a supply of lubricating oil is evenly deposited on the cylinder walls. # 2 Anti-friction additives reduce friction below that of the base oil alone under conditions of boundary lubrication. The additives are adsorbed on, or react with the metal surface or its oxide to form monolayers of low shear strength material.

Just wanted to know who is happy with their Lenar, or other JMC tractor. Want to buy a Chinese tractor, and Lenar is the only thing nearby, that I can find here in eastern Nebraska. <br>

Thats not to many hours for a machine of that vintage if it's the first time around for the tach. I would question the blow-by and try and get a fix on oil consumption. I would say it would be a ring problem at worst everything else should be fine. Maybe it just needs a good work out to seat everything in well. The don't hae power stering but if the machine looks like 550 hours it's a good buy.

I know of a company that makes snow blades that mount on a loader. The design of the blades is almost identical to the plows used on trucks.

Grinder; Yes this building is kept heated 24/7 at about 55 degrees. It has allways been used as an assembly room for furniture. 90% of our glue work is done with yellow glue and most of the rest with hide glue, both seem to set up fine but just somewhat slower than in the summer. We seem to allways be going from the heated to the unheated parts of the shop, so around 55 seems to be a comfortable temp for a light jacket and the same jacket being adequate for short periods on the cold side. We also use cove heaters in our finish room built basicly the same as the assembly room only it has a insulated wood floor, only we go a couple steps farther with it. it is also humidity controlled and heated to about 75 degrees but only when doing actual finish work. Between jobs we back the heat off to just above freezing, it also has a filtered air exchange system that changes the total volume of the air in the building about two and a half times a minute. This may sound like some flashy high tech operation, but 90 percent of these heat and air exchange systems are home made, but they've worked fine for years. As for the floor, I seem to remember that we put about twice as much re-bar in as was called for, so maybe that's why it held up. Thanks for your intrest. Frank.

I had an arps 80 3 point hoe for a couple years. I believe Bush Hog used at least one of their models in its line-up and ford/new holland, since replacement part had the ford/NH logo on it. I am talking about in the 80's and to late 90's. I don't know about now.

if you have water run off problems that is one issue.

if you have low lying areas that hold water, then this is another.

for run off problems, it is easier to pipe the run off water to a point that it can be released into a storm way or other storm water catch. this is where your trenching and piping will come in handy. try to find someone with a Little Beaver Shallow Trencher. you can get it done in 20% of the time and cost.

if you have low lying areas that hold water, you'll be forever cleaning out your underground pipe of soils that have settled in them. you have to do something different.
take a picture of the area, when it is wet and a problem. do a layout on paper and show a point where this water can be released to.

now you'll have to create a path or conveyant system to take this surface water off. it can be a surface poured concrete swell about 24 inches to 36 inches wide with a concave center to act like a trough.

give it some thought before you pursue either.

a little time wasted is better that a week wasted putting in the wrong system.

Help!!! It's been a week now since the parts were ordered and, according to the dealer, they're on the way. When I told the salesman about the problem with my HST fan he suggested not to run the tractor for more than 5 - 10 minutes. The parts guy said, based on the current tempuratures (around the freezing point), that I could probably run the tractor for about 45 minutes and then let it cool down before using it again - sounds logical. I'm losing valuable seat time as the days grow shorter and the ground gets harder. Any suggestions or advice? Should I use it or not? For sure, I don't want to invalidate the warranty.

Murf, we are lucky to have the moisture we do so we don't get into the dry dust that some do. The vertical air intake at the top of te cabs are used in quite a few areas of the world. While in Austraila this spring I saw many veichles equipped that way for the desert areas.

No sodium is good and all...you know, if you go to lowes there is a guy that is there that is an expert at outdoor lighting and the comparison of highest initial cost vs. highest running cost...i think the sodium checked out to be the highest starting cost but pays off in the long run.
