I've seen the same thing on the FEL hard lines under the floor of my BX. There seem to be some compression fittings which "leak" a little. I've been a little afraid to tighten them.

I to would like to see resopnce from someone more "in the know" than me.

thanks all for the posts. This is a great forum and I've learned a lot from the posts and the pics. I talked to the dealer (when they picked it up to unstick the float detent spring on FEL) he said no problem with add'l lights. I am going with the magnetic type.

AV8R - I so miss those Friday fish frys. They don't have then in Iowa. I grew up in the Milwaukee area and I try to catch a Friday fish fry whenever I'm in town. Man I miss those... I'm salivating already...

Ya gotta watch out for them church suppers. They'll fill you up fast. Unfortunately, we only have them during Lent. But they are good eatin'.

Thanks to all for the advice, my tractor has had very easy work until the last couple of weeks of picking up leaves. Mostly mowing and I do allow about 5 minutes of idle time each time I start it so it warms up.

Just do a Google search for "corn stoves" there's a million of them.

My sister had one in her house, the main problem was getting a suitable supply. If the corn is too dusty or dirty it clogs up the works and if it is too moist it doesn't burn right.

When it worked, it worked well, in the end they moved it to the workshop and replaced it with a wood pellet stove. She figures the cost of heat was nearly the same and the convenience wasn't worth it.

I like the UDT in the axles as long as it will hold it without seepage. I recommend changing to the 80-90 when there is a seepage problem without the time to pull the spindles apart to clean the seals to stop the weeping.

There are many tractors that hit the big boats for travel both ways and Baltimore is one of the favorite ports to see all of them going in and out. It used to be NY and what a time that could be to get them in and out!

If it's any consolation you are not the first. I've not seen anything from the manufacturers of any of the subcompacts to cover this area and I think it might be hard to protect and yet still have the fan work properly.

For the older Kubotas running the blue paint we do stock it and I'm unsure of any other near matches. The old ford engine blue might be as close as anything.

I looked at it today at the dealer. They were closed, so will wait on test drive. The bucket has been reinforced with plate steel. I heard that the seal around the rear pto can leak. Saw oil staining back there, but nothing seeping. I am curious why the engine overheated in the first place, making the complete overhaul necessary with only 1400 hours. I will get the old owner's phone #.

How easy is it to push the hydro pedals? Am wondering if my wife would feel comfortable mowing with this.

NorthernTool has blueprints for all kinds trailers. Item No. 128542 is listed as a 10' x 5' hydraulic dump trailer. I can't comment how good these plans are, it sells for $34.99. Just key in the item no. on their website.

Try Adamstown Equipment They are always good to us. We are a NH dealler and have a deere dealer 3 miles from us but chose to go to them. They are North of lancaster on 222. They are about 55 miles form us. (Western York county)
