My Cub Cadet is 26 hp 4wd and pulls my 5.5 foot disk harrow just fine. Notched disks in front, smooth in rear give good bite and then decent finish. Having turf tires is not an advantage so I leave the snow chains on the rears for traction. The disk is for the spring - I use a single bottom plow for fall "turn over". The drag harrow is something I could use.....

Hi all. As another satisfied cub owner, I feel I should stick up for the brand a little. I have a 7265 (26HP Hydro) with cub loader and a cheap brushhog, and soon a 5' snowblower. It came with turfs. It's a 4wd and has worked great for clearing, field mowing, and stump and log pulling. The engine is a mitsubishi, and runs great. The controls are nice. It doesn't scuff my turf. It doesn't smoke. The roll hoop folds with no tools. Ok, I admit i have to open the hood to check the oil. I can live with that.

A couple of things to consider here. First is that most engine driven generators need to run at 3600 rpm to give 60Hz. That's pretty fast from a 540 rpm input. Second is how are you going to mount the contraption of generator, pulleys, and belts? I wish you luck in making it work! Sounds like a fun little project.
