Help me out here: this tractor has two sets of lift arms? One does not work with mower but there is a set that still does work (reading the very last few words)?
Are the wet lines for front end loader or remote hydraulics?

First the very simple, have you check the oil level?
Doubt this tractor has any control on lift speed but it does how position lift and draft control I think, two levels to control the lift arms. If so try working both controls to see if one of them is set so a load will not lift but no load it works fine. kt

My best suggestion is to look for this tractor on the big sites and see what others are being offered for. As to the key there is good chance you will find it is a standard key used no need to change the lock. Not true for all brands but know it is for my orange and green machines. As to the cutter how bad is the dent(s) and how worn. I have seen them sell not that much below new to say only 30% of new but honestly here a used rough cut mower holds it price I think too well unless it is a light weight cutter than doubt they do. kt

gratorraider is a pro on these and I will admit I am far from that. Not sure our gator model but we have had failure to fire two different times and both the spark plug had died. But the only testing I did was removed the plug and saw how fowled it was and thought bad plug. kt

Taking Auerbach thought a little further how about it was glued to the valve cover either on purpose or by accident and has come lose?

Back to Auerbach's thought years ago a Ford Mechanic tell about their finding such on I think the higher priced models mostly.

I do not know for certain on does the linkage even need adjusting but would be more surprised to be told no never. All linkage can be bent and worn. kt

It also sounds like a quick disconnect could be kicking out when pressure is being applied. If you test as Joel said that would also show up. Might be a little trash not letting it seat properly.

If this is the new hose might be something wrong with the hose, such as trash in it.

Thanks Joel,

I am not planning on using my drill press as milling machine but sure wish I could afford a good one. Just wondering about using milling bit itself to cut rather than really drill hole. Memory is when I was in a tool shop we did with two edge milling bits.

On the metal coring bit, where do you find that? Also how slow are you talking about? I use to think hole saws were made to cut metal but looking at what such as Lowes have on their shelves they do not really tell you what they will cut.

Please forgive me for been watching too many Alaska shows just thought if the chips are too hot then set the drilling out side in your winter, no problem. kt

I agree it sounds like clog in the fuel tank. Could be something floating in the fuel tank.

If I mentioned this earlier I have over looked it but running a subsoiler around any crop each year will really help keep trees and other non crop roots out. You will be surprised how deep tree roots will go to get to fertilizer or water.

Think have the name correct but try using "Antiseeze" when you install such. Some good stuff. Do not get on clothes or brake pads. kt

Mike no idea if this could be your issue but:

Does this tractor have draft and position controls? If so see if the draft is preventing the lift from raising. Just try both controls. The draft could be set where it will not lift the weight you have on the lift.

Don't know I can fully answer your questions but on my Kubota it has both draft and position. Years ago had experience with older Ford. But think the Kubota will be most like your Kioti. You use the position control to set the depth you want to use the plow at. Then you use the draft control to keep the plow at that setting as the ground raises and lowers. You use the position control to raise and lower the plow or blade or what ever.

My best suggestion for you is to put a plow on the tractor and get in a place to just try it at slow speed so you can feel and watch the action of the lift working as you plow. If your tractor has speed adjustment on the lift it can also affect the draft's operation.

woodie sorry for your troubles there. An hour drive might be a good investment. Eye to eye works much better than ear to phone does some times.

I ended up without tool box or bed cover. Instead I went with tool boxes on my two trailers I use for any hauling. I have had that pickup about a year and think have put near 4,000 miles on it. Do enjoy it and it is a very good workhorse. About a month back had to have major front end brake work at just over 100,000 miles. I got tickled with it about three months back, went to buy some landscape rock and asked them for two yards and said it will not take the weight. Okay give me one yard, when they put that in the bed it did not hardly lower the rear end. Said to me sir did not mean to hurt your feelings, did not realize it had that capacity. Drove and ran with what was suppose to be two yards much better than empty. Which brings me to I doubt the bucket on their front end loader really holds a yard.

You know that sounds like a lot of hours but only 233 per year or 4.5 per week. My B2710 kubota is little younger I think than that but may not be and it is less than 1,000. Might get it broke in this year. lol

Not tell me where in my neighboring state are any moose green or brown?
