Thanks Bugs. Just got off the phone with a friend who has tractor garage and he said never heard an issue with the gas. He did say you could not tote enough gas to the V 10.

I used to have brother in law who's nickname was Bugs.

Possible issues
Linkage not adjusted correctly.
Linkage is bent not fully engaging the pto.
Linkage has something restricting its movement, even may need oiling. Possible trash also.
Guess you could have issue with gear worn also.

Greg, glad I am not one of the boys. lol. But if he had two my size the wheel would have remained on the ground.

Do be sure your tires have proper air pressure in them. If you had one on the down hill side to come break free of the rim....

That degree of slope here is not normal, maybe with bridges and the cutting on the side of them. Know it looks like they mow those running with the slope and as amazing as it is have never seen them being mowed. But some of the mowers they use they run dual rear wheels with (on tractors). You be sure your tires have the correct air pressure for if the down hill tire were to suddenly loose pressure it could be over. Do look into a cutter for cutting slopes. Depending on what you need they are very costly but there are also some light weight units that are not that costly. kt

The first time in years and many years at that had a spark plug to fail. Gator was running and stopped. Trying to crank it back up with no success at all. First thing I did was replace the spark plug (figured if more than that back to the shop)and it fired right up and been fine. It had been in shop for tune up and service due to ethanol so maybe the plug was damaged when being installed? kt

I think you will find many if not most MF dealers will ship to you. Depending on the parts there may be other sources such as NAPA. Once had MF dealership tell me you could buy most parts there. Think they were referring the parts for the perkins engine. Below is one link for some parts. New to me but highly recommended by a dealership and a used equipment dealer to me. kt

Not trying to upset my friends in the frozen North...the snakes that craw on their belly is not the ones we worry about...it is the ones which still have legs. Seems to be a real big nest on the eastern shore.

Learned long time ago we all have a special place in our heart for where we were raised, Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz said it best, "there is no place like home."

Living where I do have many friends, clients and neighbors from all states North of here up to about as far west as Minnesota. Funny to me there is very few from southern states south or west of here. Hear the reasons for moving here, not so cold, very seldom have snow, lower cost of living, golf courses, how liberal the area they lived was, shows or such they enjoy. However I know it would be hard for me to pack up and move away from my family and friends. We do see moves that are two and three generation because of that.

Crunch on the house, my father in law passed almost 14 years ago and my mother in law moved in with us about 2 years ago. We kept her house in tack till about 2 months ago and finally knew doing so was foolish and began the taking it apart and deciding what went where. Some to each of the 2 girls, some to grandchildren, and other family members. Hard work. It took us about 2 months to do that and the house is less than 1/2 mile from us. It also took longer than we expected to get it ready to rent and is now taking it longer to rent that we expected. Said all that to tell you the process is slow, for us we had to handle and discuss who needed, wanted or would benefit from each piece. When it was all completed my wife told me, I am so glad it has been done. As hard as it was it was done with my Mama's input. I am glad do not have to face this when she passes. Sadly since June 10th, house was not on the rental market my mother in law was admitted to the hospital and has since then been either in hospital or rehab and will belief she will be able to return to live with us. We all have the responsibility to prepare for tomorrow, whether we be there or have moved on. That means preparing to close the house here for the home, there. kt

Interesting. Have never seen one of these. I did notice the operator still had his right hand on the right front post for stability in one shot. Wonder if the rotating of the machine has more movement than the normal front axle does on will same most other tractors. Assume they are four wheel drive since all wheels are same size. kt

whooper, no idea the design of the linkage there but have you looked carefully for bent linkage or the rod into the transmission and also for broken roll pin or loose set screw that could have been working loose and finally has? Also spring on the linkage or trash interfering with it's return to position. kt

And just what is a Hoarder? I have seen the shows on tv and had an aunt that it fit with room after room filled with print in all forms. But tractor parts are not junk that negatively affect life. They are necessary replacements parts, either today or tomorrow or a friend (not known yet who) will surely need. How can that be HOARDING? <br>

The list is rather long with no more info that you shared. Was it running and would not crank back up? Had it run out of fuel? Has it not been run for a couple of years? Do answer Chief's question. kt

I am sure they would have that fused. With it turning over should not be a safety switch being the issue. There may be a relay in that circuit also. kt

Wives, ole Daniel Boone had a good one. I have a great one. A few years back a couple put their place up for sale for a very high price compared to it's worth. Reason, it was only 5 minutes was what the ad read. They change the road now so more like 10 minutes. It did not sell. LOL

Hossfly, is it possible some of the illegals have tried to use it and their failing to crank it have removed or cut wires or contaminated the fuel? Same time does not have to be an illegal to do such, just a person doing illegally.

Have the National Guards been posted to the border there yet? If so can you tell any difference in the flow of people and drugs? Watch a History Channel show on the 1800 Texas Rangers and how they pprotected that border and would go into Mexico to do so. Guess that is when protection was real. kt

Is it possible to build enough storage for all our stuff? Thin what we do is we build for what we have, get it stored and then wow I have room and more stuff, more storage needed and on and on.

Dennis, how about an enclosed trailer for haul you tractor, fel and such when you need to and use it to store the tractor in (of course sercures so no one just drives off with both)?

Since you first posted this I happened up this company below. Have impressed me. Wish had talked with them three months ago. They will build metal frame only suitable for plywood and shingles. If you watch the video pay attention to the background where they are setting up the canopy, it is a golf course. LOL Richard John there said they ship to many countries. kt

Wonder if they would let you drive into an airport with one of these? Do wonder when the waste oil being used for diesel and the wood chips will be taxed for roads. Had a local a few years ago using old cooking oil and on the news he bragged he did not pay any road tax. I thought, wonder how many who work with taxes are listenin? Not sure but it makes sense the government has the authority to tax for road useage if the fuel does not have raod tax in it. kt

Shacking gas mixture is a must before fueling and I would say so is the tool if possible when it has sat.

Willie, the chocolates were very good, but please no more, got to loss some weight. lol One thing I heard from all three shops were due to epa regs no two cycle will last like they did. Having to run too lean a fuel ratio.

Did pull out the replacement saw a couple of weeks ago to clear some storm trash and it was nice to use. Seem as if God thinks now have that saw need to use it. Clean up from one small storm and there is another to put down more trees.

I am not aware of any source for that data unless a Massey dealer. If it has options as to buckets that would also affect it. kt
