Kirby I suspect the tractor Hardwood is talking about is heavier than yours but that lack of traction due to lighter tractor should be solved by the 4 wheel drive of yours.

When you say "boggs down"do you mean the rpm's drop or the tires are spinning? If rpms are dropping you need to run higher rpms or use lower great.

Agree if the moldboards are not set proper much harder to pull and will not do a good job. If set properly the plows will pull them self into the dirt and both rolls will look the same. Some of this is affected by the speed you are running at. Take some hinted to advice by Hardwood and clean the wings especially on those plows so the dirct has smooth surface to slide on, cut down on the friction.

Your question if ths hp too small for 10 acres and no is the answer. Will it do the work as fast as a 60 or 80 hp tractor no. But this is not a job you will do often so take the time. Think we discussed this before hire someone to do the work with bigger equipemnt. Even if they disked it would find it a help. Anything you run through the dirt first will help. Subsoiler or disk will help. There is also no shame in makimg shallow run of even four inches to get roots busted up and then coming back with full depth plowing. I have a 68 hp 2 wheel Kubota that I am pulling two shank subsoiler with. It is all it wants and I feel as you sort of do...man this is slow. But when you are in an open field of 10 acres and you make a round you have plowed 56 inches. In that field that looks like nothing but you are making steady progress.

Hey you do have good points on those plows? Are you sure you have them set up properly? Front to rear with 3rd arm and side to side with right lift arm adjustments? Be sure the points are set aiming down so they do pull into the dirt and you set the side to side with the right wheel in the furrow to level the plows then. If you get the 3rd arm too short the plows will really dig in (can to the point they bod the tractor in the dirt) and if too long they don't want to pull into the dirt.

Auerbach my Mother in Law does use such a brace.

You will find many who only use a box blade and to me they are really good as Hardwood has pointed out for breaking up dirt and pulling it. They are not adjustable as a grading blade though. So if you need to make or maintain such as a road bed keep the blade. Also the middle buster is great for cutting trenches for such as open drains (should do good job to begin the job for a rear blade set correctly) or for such as trench to bury water lines.

In the perfect world guess we would have a dozen tractors each set up with different implements.

I agree and wonder why no movie or tv star goes to jail for what the children retells from a show. So much double standards in this old world.

That about Soros have heard a while back, was told by person who worked with the guns at a Walmart impossible to track the ownership of Remington. Was also told recently they have begun to make handguns again. Was not aware they ever had but still odd. This would not be the first time someone bought a company with the sole intent of closing them for any number of reasons. Do know at local Wal Mart Remington 22 ammo is about 50% higher than other brands. From my experience just as soon or rather have CCI at much lower price.

Be sure not to add canopy. Folding down ROPS is no longer option.

I backed tractor with canopy under shelter one day with heavy load on 3pth and disconnected it. Well was able to drive out due to canopy sloping forward but getting back in there was a problem. So check clearance with full tires and no weight on tractor.

ON my B2710 the levers on left fender are pto and the one on the right fender is 2/4 wheel lever. Not sure with out looking which postion is 2 wheel without looking. Will look if need to for you.

Safe to say not normal. If new to hydraulic realize the pressure can be dangerously high so do be careful in lossening lines.

Where is the leak, where fitting screws together or into the port? If so may just need snugging up or removing and using proper pipe dope.

Auerbach may be correct for it sounds like it is not getting fully in gear when in forward. Might be the linkage needs adjusting (if it has linkage) for forward. Or could there be trash preventing the linkage free movement forward?

Did you swamp it so deeply the tank would have gotten water in it? If you had cap on tank doubt you need to drain it.

Agree with drain fluids and filters and one thing you did not mention is with plug out turn the engine over just in case water is in the cylinder to prevent bent rods. But if running and it sucked water in probably damage done already there. Hope not. Maybe the electrical shorted out first.

So the one on it guess burnt out and you replaced it and it burnt out, right? Has anything else in the electrical system been changed? No idea how high voltage would have to get to cause issue for coil. Are you sure it is the coils and not coil wire or other wire to it? Are you sure you had proper coil to for it?
Back to the voltage does your tractor have a voltage meter? If so how is the voltage running? Any problem with lights burning out?

Many tractors have a valve you can set so the lift will not lower or lowers slowly. It is normally a round knob and within easy reach from the seat. Mine are between my legs while seated. It may take only a part turn to make difference in the lowering speed.

I really don't understand why we find bad cable connection so hard to believe. Well till I have a real case of it doubted it also I guess. Had a cable it was tight and would not wiggle and pull it off and it looked good. Only problem was there was a glaze on the inside of the cable clamp that was preventing the current a clean path to flow, really had to scrap it out and has been fine since. Guess we want to believe it is never simple but seems simple is more often issue than the difficult in many issues.

It is also possible the issue is not your tank but the tranks the fuel is in before the tractor.

If it has valve to lock it most likely between your legs under the seat so you can reach down to adjust it while seated.

You are sure the lift lever is working the linkage (may need someone to work the lever while you watch)?

Would think low fluid or clogged filter would only be issue on lilfting it when it needs oil pressure.

Just wondering did you use the tractor in any manner such as with rear blade there the lift was pushed up to it's range limit and maybe some damage done. Even possible dropping off of a pile of dirt with rear mower or blade where the weight of the tractor came down hard on the lift system?

Would think if such happened you would have been jointed right hard.
