Bummer on the clutch.

I think many don't realize you can tear out a PTO clutch. Was amazed a few years back when a person I know did so with a hyd cutter.

Did you try swapping the spark plug wire? Does it have a distributor cap?

Thinking about this a little more, many of the wheel mounts are a one piece for the front and rear wheel on each side. Is it possible they were installed back-wards or what should be the rear wheel is on the front side? Even if not back-wards if they bolt on you might can turn them around and solve the problem.

Easy to assume when a hands on inspection brings up the simple.
Have you checked for loose wire or mechanical issue in the system?

You might be right but think you need to oil the pedal and it's linkage. Look and see if possibly there is a stick in the linkage or linkage got bent while being serviced.

If there is an "Online" Dealership sort of doubt it. But as to getting into a dealership you should be able to find a dealership that will be glad to drop ship to you. At same time I have a friend who is not a JD dealership and he sells a lot of JD parts. No idea how he gets them.

Realize if your tractor had remote hyd you would go that way so another possible low cost option is find a used pto driven hyd cutter or such with operating pump and valve assembly.

If I understand what you are asking how about a used hyd log splitter or quick disconnect fittings on a log splitter?

It does look good. So does the trailer load of firewood.

Just wondering, how long is long distance shooting? What kind of caliber?

Here long range is 200 yards which I know you probably consider iron sight shooting possibly even handgun.

This past Saturday as I was using my TWO wheel drive tractor and looking at my FOUR wheel drive parked under shelter a thought hit me on my comments...my brain likes simplier ideas. So I hauled and dumped another load of dirt and went back for another. Weather was great,so this is why have equipment, to play in the dirt...I mean work the dirt.

I have no idea what type of checking method your tractor used but a gallon of hyd is not that much in even a small tractor.

Have you never check the fluid in it before?

Look for a dipstick any where, underseat or floor board or such. Look for about 1/4 pipe plug on side of trans for fill level. Look for a sight guage on side of transmission. Can not think of any other method.

Another source for tractors in many states is their Dept of Agriculture. Many have a listing for farmers to sell their own equipment.

My concern there is the size machine you are looking for is probably seldom there. In today's economy think such as the suggestions already given probably will find your best buy.

Possibly I missed this but rigs like you want are big scams. Often see them on ebay and Craig's list. Easy to tell, just ask where it is (first they will want to know where you are so it can be hundreds of miles from you) to see it. If you just happen to be go their or have a friend of such who lives there it will move or be crated up for shipping where it can not be seen. Don't be scared to look at dealerships either.

Mike, I know the local Kioti dealer so so. Talking with him over the last 4 or so years (when he first got that line) the Kioti seems to be a lot of extras such as number or remote hyd connections and such that to me would be nice. The models I have seen seem to be built for FEL and is one reason for all the remote connections. The best I can tell you is per our conversation they are good tractors for the price. Yet have heard him and his people tell of quicks to certain issues. Don't think anything major. Having said that my experience has been with Kubota and Case and I rather have either of those all things considered.

In today's economy you may wish to price a new package (and you may have) might find it not a lot more in price than some used rigs, espeically if you are not paying cash.

My only real suggestion here is don't buy without being able to test it. For some reason many places think price is most important item on seat and don't realize how much time (hopefully) you will spend in it.

Northern Tool has a good selection but if you do order one watch for all the specs. Height of seat and location in relationship to the mounting holes are two that are easy to miss. Also pay attention to the distance from the front edge of the bottom to the seat back. I found many with such a shallow distance it was a pain to stay in the seat.

I really like flail mowers from what I have used them and seen used on mostly roads here. But don't like the bumping Ole Man Murf is talking about and that would if I understand correctly solve a problem I ran into when flail mower on lawn, the resistance the roller was to turning thus causing the front tires to dig in the turf.

As to speed, think I can cut as fast with a flail mower as I really care to travel...now remember I am one of those slow moving Southerners that drives speedy Jeff crazy. :)

Now the good news, in twenty years you can look for and find possibly the same one but at least the same model and buy it as a collectible for much more than you sold it. See life can be fair!

Many bearings are industy standards and can often be found in most major auto parts stores. They do have numbers on the bearings. Again most do.

Below is what Woods has on it.
It looks to me to be a good match for a Ford 7000. Will point out most people do not recommend a backhoe only being supported by the 3 pth.
What I have seen and know of Woods they make good products.
