I have received a lot of advice on mower for ditches and moving dirt that each has been used and appreciated. The mower advice probably saved me a few hundred if not thousands of dollars. BTW, have a new one for excavator I hope to have running in next week or two depending on fittings and weather.

But the biggest thing I probably have gathered from here are two, some great internet friends who I really respect and THINK before you do it and THINK while you are doing it. Guess back to Ken's safety suggestions.

lesharoturbo, if still having same problem when it happens again, removed fuel fiter if gravity feed from tank or open line but see if fuel is still running at a good flow. If not then you have an issue above it. You could have a piece of trash in your tank that is getting sucked down on the fuel outlet but not totally blocking it.

tinstar, did you get your tractor working? If so what did you find to be the issue?

Know no more than on their web site but just looking at it did not seen any engine size in both the CK and DK models. It looks like the CK is up to 34 hp and the DK begins at 38 hp. Did not see all the models you list so wonder if I missed something or they are old models? No idea.

I have on gas seen them run for good while with a little air pocket in the filter. My family has two lawn mowers due to way they are designed have never seen all the air out of their filters.

Frank, hope someone who really knows with chime in, but I think the Gator mulching blades or anyone's I guess do so by throwing the clipping back in the air for them to fall down on the cutting edge again. If that is do it makes sense there might be more debris on the bottom of the deck. Have never thought on that.
As to the green clippings, don't forget piles of those things generate a lot of heat, even fires.

Mike, No idea in Florida but many states dept of Agriculture have a classified type publication for farmers for such as this. Some have them on line and in print and others states may have only one or the other. I would check your State Dept of Agr web site to see if they do and list my need there.

There is a business near me who was a long time IH and then Case dealership who was known for a great stock of parts. They no longer sell tractors but still do parts and service work. You may wish to give them a call. The name is Mullins Truck and Tractor at 843-464-8255.

I have been told that an LLC gives very little real protection and yes I have one but it does give some. My guess is if the trailer or truck belong to the person by name, they would be in trouble.

No idea the model gator we have but about 5 years old. IF it is allowed to sit for about 4 months during the winter with fuel in tank and no treatment...oh do I pay for it next spring. Found out best way to prevent it for me was...we take grandchildren on rides during the winter now..a real win win deal as no stale gas and both grandchildren and grandparents are happy.

I did not have to drain mine, added fresh gas and got in open field and drove with one hand on choke and kept adding fresh gas often. Think I used some gas treatment but no idea what it was. Only took two winters to find out what the problem was. :-(

Any idea why they closed. There are a lot more reasons than many think for a business to close.

The commercial dealerships here of many if not all brands are hurting.

If you get to this level of people around the world we are a lot alike and can accomplish much together. It is the politicians that can not stand each other for the most part.

This had to take a lot of work. Well worth the time to listen.

I totally agree with Ken. I have two Kubotas and other than one transmission gear have been very pleased. I have friend who sells tractors and does sell some Mahrinda. To me that would be my biggest reason not to buy a Mahrinda, their dealerships and support are not near what NH, JD or Kubota are.
