I think you will find they will ask did you do any work for which you will be paid for that week. But if they are as lax there as they are here right now they may not ask anything. I let an employee go recently and she was the first who ever hit me for unemployment. I was expecting it for knew she was really wanting some time off.

Jon, wish I had tought to add this to my first post. You will find many who suggest as Ken sort did you are better off to have a seperate engine power splitter. Due to pump design think you get a quicker cycle time also. Also many do not like running the tractor engine and pumps when a must less expensive engine and pump will do the job as well or possibly better. Again, I am repeating this as I have never used a spliter from tractor hyd and it has been years since I have used a hyd splitter. Now the old heavy one you swing, used it a few months ago. For oak had rather split it with that then lift it. Well the one or two trees I will split over a two year period for smoking use.

No idea where I got the idea that was an import brand but glad to learn it is not. I know Koyker and Korea are not the same but in todays world. Next thing I learn with be Candoarms is not in Canada.

I had a qd on an excavator to begin to leak on a circuit which was not hooked up. Could find no reason and worked and worked and took it off and capped the line due to having to order that size qd. Got to thinking about it and took it apart and found just a little dirt in it. Cleaned it good and reassemblied and the leak was solved at about $80 less. It does not take much to throw those valves off.

They also make an unit that switches between two circuits with electric seloniods I think is correct. If you are near an Agri Supply have seen them on their self. No expect on those at all but might be a good option.

Carps, if you have a good stand of grass, you might find some one who would cut it for hay. Depending of what you have they may be willing to pay you for it or not.

At $5,000 you will have to find a good deal on used rig. Or if you have an atv or such as Earthwrks suggested a self powered pull unit.

If you saw my comment on having fuel cut off on another post the basic is often where we get hung up. But still Ken's suggestion is a good basic one. No noise would seem it certainly is not getting into gear for one of these two reason.

Oliver, you probably could look on ebay and get some rough idea of current pricing. Based upon what you said, I would get buying price locked down and then sell before I bought.

But, the L tractor is heavier and bigger. Will that cause you any harm? Will that weight be an issue where you are using finishing mower or will the larger frame be any clearance issue? Is the 5 foot mower wide enough to cover it width or will you need to move to a 6 foot? How much time will you save with the larger more hp tractor? Then what else would you be able to do with the L tractor you are not able to with the current tractor?

Also, since you are financing part of it, it will have to be insured and if current tractor is not there is that cost and do you have property taxes on tractors and if so how much will that vary.

If you will be holding 10 or 11,000 cash don't miss used tractors and packages yourself. If you find a rigg for say $3,000 less then new and end up paying 8% on now $5,000 that would still be less than 0 on $8,000.

No idea there but landscapers and contractors who used small equipment are putting a good many on the market here.

Frank, will be praying for recovery of both.
I know a family where both in 30's one sister had kidney problems for years and finally really needed transplant. One of her sisters was a very good match and made the donotation. Her husband and children were very supportative of it. She did have some pain as her kidney had to resettle but both did great and are doing great. That was about 3 years ago. Love is a wonderful thing. So is life. Great your daugther was able to share both with her son. Bet you are a proud Daddy and Grand Daddy. Have two girls myself and each has a child. Hard to beat the pride and love that must be flowing now.

One of the dumbest things I have ever done was changed fuel filter and then bleed system and have same type problem you were. Felt like old Jeffery when I realize had failed to open the fuel cut off. When you ran out of fuel it is possible it pulled a lot of junk out of the tank.
