If I may add to Hardwood's thoughts, do check more than one dealership of each brand. I bought a used tractor a few years back it was amazing how much the used pricing varied in an hours drive. kt

Joel, the local Kubota dealership shows to be a LP dealership also. I have never seen an implement there that matched the Kuboat color or at least never noticed one in the few times there. Then it hit me he may not want them in the Kubota color as he is also a Massey dealership. But for this pumpkin owner, I had rather the paint match if a reasonable choice and sad to say, yes I might would buy influenced by that. Sure have had good service with red paint on mowers, real good service. kt

Joel, The problem with most 2-stroke engines is the fact that they produce almost no torque. They'll rap out at around 11,000 rpm, but they bog down quickly when asked to do any real work.

So on go-carts, guess they just geared them down? I was told about one that used two McCulloughs and ran over 100 mph, way too fast for me on such.

Murf, you keep repeating and I appreacite it as each time it does come into understanding better.

Really don't have solid 1.5" rows of limbs to cut but have learned the job seems to always get bigger and not smaller. You clear this and it looks so good so now less go to the next bigger stuff hidden by the smaller younger and tender stuff.

Happened to talk with someone last night who helped another build a cutter using a large saw blade. He offered me large saw blade and some other parts to build my own. Will check that out first. Really appreacite your feedback. kt

Ken, sure no hyd hose expert but wonder if all NAPA stores use the same supplies on those? At same time many companies do have different grades of a product, even with their name on it. Take Michelin for instance. They have their famous tires and then some OEM tires recaps as about as good as.

As to the price of the local made hose compared to premade, I do not find the local made to be anywhere near the price of the premade. Not for generic hoses, if for a certain hose on a certain machine you probably are correct. kt

Jeff, never had seen the set up until the past Friday as I happened to see it on Agri Supply's shelf. It looked like it was designed to fit the factory connectors but wondered about clearance as it would extend out maybe four or more inches. The body plus the connectors might push it a good bit more than four inches. kt

They do make a tool for such, that is basically a split wedge to drive the joint apart. You may also use a pully puller.

If you are not good at timing the swings as Ken is, if you have a real heavy hammer hold it tight and hit with lighter hammer. Do not miss his point on the oil. Not sure I would suggest it but heating the outside part may expand it enough to loosen the joint also. kt

EW I noticed that and finally decided the "y" was missed then it could be they meant "stud". Could refer to the wooden ones or a horse or dog or such and their barns.

Think back to what may have change right before this began. You mentioned the air filter is clean. Did you replace the fuel filter and not get it sealed or bled. kt

Harvery, you will enjoy it. As to those turns, Cutter's idea is how I try to turn but don't let one tire not be turning even in reverse it will do much less damage than just being a pivot point. kt

A few years ago we purchased a Case (larger tractor than being talked about here) that came with I think Goodyear Radials. Those were some of the best traction tires I have ever used. At same time that 7,000 pound tractor or so was used to cut 3 lawns and due to the design of the lugs or rather lack of lugs they were great. The pattern looked like a mix of ag tire and turf tire. They were ag tires. So there may be an option you that would suit you that may require the help of the dealership in swapping them. kt
