If you have the equipment you want to park in the barn already, park at as close as you feel comfortable and measure the area you need. You could put up some stakes with string or tape between them to give you a good idea on the walls. Where you place the door will also be important. <br>

If you don't have the equipment, get the dimnensions of each piece, draw to scale and lay it out as a puzzle and that will give you an idea. You will have to allow for turning room and such.<br>

I believe there are many who are to blame for the lawsuits:
companies that build sorry products, companies who lie about their products quality or such, lawyers who don't care about the truth only what they make, people who don't care about the truth only what they can get, juries who are willing to award just to go home. The list is probably longer.

Murf, our ground water level is high here and by Building Code plastic vapor barrier is required under concrete in most if not all building for that reason.

Mostly one place I find 2 wd is hander than 4 wd is if you plant crops and need to change the tractor width. That does not show up on your list. 4 wd will get out of places a 2 wd drive will not. In working dirt, 4 wd can allow you to make a mess in wet dirt you should have allowed to dry before working it. At same time 4 wd can create false security and get you in places it can not get out of either. My M Kubota manual shows a little lager tillage ability with 4 wd over 2 wd of same hp. kt

So did it run hot with him? Wonder why he said it did not need it? Wonder if he had suspecting the radiator was at least partly clogged and tried it, but had not worked for him? Let us know what you find. Have a great Independance Day

Jerry, there are least two different ends, one has a single pin you push and on some of those if you push it too far it will not release. The one it seems you have with a ring that you pull back will not pull back fully if as Murf said you have debris in it. You may find it good to disconnect the cutter and pull the shaft apart for working room. <br>

Get to know your neighbors. They can be a big help or problem. Respect them and their property. At same time realize theft in the rural areas is a problem due to how open things normally are. Don't get greedy on the idea of "free things" with the purchase. Just what all has a car dealer given you? kt<br>

Oh, try to know what your long term plans are. Buy equipment for that, not the short term, rent or hire that. Be sure you buy equipment that replacement parts are easy to get. Don't assume just because you know of the brand that parts are being made.

I would suppose burning stumps is like other things, some are safe and other situations are not. The only trees here who stumps will burn in the ground are pine and then only after rotting and the heart turning into lightwood. In that process most roots have rotted away. I have never known of any problem with the burning of these stumps in the ground UNLESS they are in a forrest type area. That would be asking for a problem. kt

I have recently notice tool boxes mounted on some equipment which I thought strange until I realize it was for parts that were needed in the field such as extra sprayer parts on a sprayer. kt

Could the lower hose be collapsing when pump is pumping? Have you tried flushing the cooling system? Have seen tractor with cool radiator due to it being clogged. kt

hayley, back to YP on the first reply, you might have neighbor who could haul it for less than dealer or has a loader who could load it and of course unload it. <br>

Of course there is the idea you would use the come along or boom pole for something. Both are worth having. A thought if you go with the come along, they can be used to pull either a pickup or small tractor from a small bog if it is large enough. kt<br>

Troy Built did a good job showing the advantages of the reverse tine tiller. In hand operated machines big advantage as Hardwood points out. Have no idea with tractor mounted machines is there is such difference or not. kt

Not sure why Murf's golf ball made me wonder, have you check the grear box to be sure of the oil level in it?

BTW Murf, have know of a piece of wood doing about the same. Sure messed up the car door it hit at least a 100 feet away. No EW, I was not on either end.
