I don't think we have the Paw Paw tree in Coastal South Carolina. All this Southerner knows about it is the song "picking up paw paws and putting them in a basket" and Jerry Clower's stories about them.<br>

Many of your questions I can not help you with, but I ran into something that may be possibly your issue. JD DID use a different size coupling than some other tractors. They looked very similar but my understanding will not work with each other.

Mine is the least costly and easy so hope it is the cause...a piece of wire picked up and on one of the blades. This can be hard to see if a rusty wire and wrapped around the spindle.

I don't know but have you checked the manual to see if you set the brake and take it out of gear or did you test that? Guess you could place a sack of sand or such in seat.

The CON, you have the weight all the time. If you drop off the FEL for such as mowing you still have the weight.

I have the same problem with some sites. I think that some of the sites kick in quotation marks that makes the email address invalid. Sure look like for one I did this week. You do wonder if they don't notice the lack of emails.

What a line...have you thought about aluminum logs?

Last night saw a program on Ferrias and they have a clear coat thay might be just what you want. Just wonder if there is a product in the clear coat for autos that might be your answer. Sometimes the best idea is in use in another industry, just waiting to be discovered.

I sure don't know what the mount looks like for your tractor but one of mine's would cost that as it is a weighted bumper (Kubota). Find weights and then make a mount to fit them and your tractor.

Just a warning...if you do get a dog for security reasons...do not get a Golden Retreiver. They are too glad to see any body. Any body. Had a lady tell her house was broken into and her's show where anything of value was. Had to, only way they could have found what they did.

Did I read correct the guy passed away?

Heard Sunday night about a "boy" who was killed last week by having his arm torn off by a potato digger. Bleed to death.

It is hard to watch all the dangers. Sometimes the hard part is to recognize all the dangers.

Heard two stories recently about people being knocked off of tractor while disking by limbs. Totally different outcomes. One was knocked clear and tractor had to be run down as it was heading to a barn (know mules and hosres would do this but not tractors) but the other was run over by his disk. All it takes is a split second.

There is much here that makes me say humm.

If right door lock is so important how come he missed it? Did he test drive the pickup? Did it not come up in the sales process? Have you followed up as the other dealership said and was told here to see if it was suppose to have remote?

My present pickup (Toyota) I made comment on type of door locks it had. A month or more after buying and realizing they did not work like I thought it hit me the salesman told me he did not know to my question. It was my miss, he was honest.

There is a possibility there could be a law somewhere pretaining to the disabled, that requires different notice or features the salesperson or dealership or even GM missed. I know a man who walked away from a lease with no problem due to something very similiar.

Is it not possible to place the tank(s) behind the driver's seat? And as to tanks, does he have to have more than one in the cabin? Why could the additional not be secured in tank rake in the bed? Sure seems in case of accident that might be safer.

I am one of the MEN who do not like the remotes. How much junk can you place in your pockets. Please, no fanny pack. LOL My wife's key ring has two remotes and fat head keys making it so big there is no way it would fit any pocket other than Captain Kangaroo's. My daughter's Honda's remote is the fat head key.

There is also the other danger of having your drive so secure emergency help can not reach you if needed. You will also find some of those devices can void homeowner's insurance for that reason.

It can be amazing the number of auto that need to turn around. I don't mind one turning around in my drive (price of lighted drive in country, also I have needed to use theirs) but have seen same auto 3 or 4 times. It makes one wonder.

Our area is considered sandy. Some of it does have a high sand content but there is a layer of dirt, a very dark sand about 12 to 18 inches down that will compact and slow if not block water movement (it is called hardpan for a reason). I had a small bog hole that went away by running a subsoiler through it. Found where the water would sit on the ground was where the layer was the hardest to break.

At our first house had the same result with a more clay soil doing as Murf said.

As to permits, sure no expert but if it gets ruled WET LANDS, hope you have another site to build on.

Happened to be looking as this same option today. What we have found as options for our grandson are:
Cat's Machines, Bobcat, and a few odd and end of others brands. Found one model Kubota tractor, one model track hoe and one z turn mower today. I think New Holland has a good line. Cat has some in Northern Tool Catalog.

As to your second question on the "cross hairs" may I suggest a little blue New Holland would be suitable target. Wait, I do believe that could have happened with a "STARTER".
