What about a RFM for the farm with a small mower for triming? My step father had a 3 wheel mower that was a zero turn totally different than those out there today that was low cost, very simple, very compact and low cost. Have no idea who made it but it was a tricyle design with front wheel drive and it turned 360 degrees. Cut was like 25 inches. Great for trimming.

Have no idea who made them.

A while back there was a long discussion on transfer switches and how to do it safely and such.

Our local coop just printed the way they suggest and found it very simple, pleased use sufficient size extension cords and plug your applicances directly into the generator. no transfer switch or any other connection to the house.

Our children are not small long at all. That time is so precious. Invest as much with your child(ren) as possible. Even in the best the, it is a short time.

I would suspect your wife would really appreciate what you are doing. She should realize you would (and may?)for more children.

Family always has sacrifices. They should also have blessings you only get there. When you get to Granddaddy status you realize this much better. It will not matter the grass was not cut, nor the car washed but it will matter who held their hand and looked at the stars.

Hoses premade sure do cost less than same hose made at local shops. Of course there are more options with those made in the local shops as they can install an end not normally used and odd lengths. Might save a fitting for you.

You may find the metal you want for the floor at a heating and air conditioning shop. A guage with gal. coating should work fine.

A hose one inch short is a real heart break and can be costly. As you pointed out, those turns and curves add up.

The skidsteer from there for sale here must have missed the work you were talking about. It looks almost brand new. If it had been on the proper band lot I would have thought it was. But yellow Cat on Blue Farmtac sure shows up.

I appreciate your thoughts and agree at least to some degree. I really believe most Bible scholars agree the Jews of today are those decedents. At the same time all who live there are not Jews nor do all Jews live there.

As to the line "one nation under God" man came up with that, as I think for a goal. When God says something, hard for it to be wrong.

Without a doubt there is much more that could be discussed on these topics, however if I err, let it be on the safe side.

The type of 2" brush you are cutting can vary. Oak is much harder on a cutter than pine. Also the amount you will be cutting might make a difference. If you will have only a few brush like this you might be better off cutting those with a chain saw and then could use a lighter cutter. If you have much of that 2" to cut you may wish to consider a cutter that extends past the side of your tractor so the tractor does not have to run over it possibly damaging the tractor. Don't miss the height the cutter will cut down to. Be sure you are pleased with the stuble height the cutter will leave. Remember, you propably will be putting tractor tire back on that and the stuble will often be sharp. (tire damage can be easy here)

If you have never used a rough cut cutter before I do suggest you start away from buildings and roads. They can throw debris a long way.

As to the parts stores on belts I agree with earthwrks. There are often companies that make aftermarket belts for such but they normally will give the machine number on their packaging or at least the ones I have seen do. Sometimes an industrial equipment company will carry a better or heavier line of belts.

As to type of lights you use the rectangular ones or the round ones probably will make little difference. What will make the most difference is the light pattern it is. For close up you need FLOOD, for a little further away you need TRAPEZOID. Many lights show the pattern on the box. I would want halogen ones if possible.

Have you looked at a steel salvage yard? There is a large one about 50 miles from here and they had all kinds of steel items. The one that makes me think of what you are doing is the about 8 foot tall anchor. I would be surprised if you can not find something suitable either at such a place or old construction site/company.

Is the 10 foot drop sufficient to work? Are you able to drop it at speed sufficient to work? It will need to be a free fall.

Is it such you could use one of the chain saws for concrete or would the rebar be a problem for them? There there is blowing them. That may be what the person who suggested the propane tank had in mind. LOL.

If you ever had or have a Will (or Trust) or have life insurance either through work or not, be sure who you have listed as beneficary.<br>

If you ever make a change on that be sure the proof is stored with the orginial document. <br>

Also be careful if you have a minor child as how you set that up. There are options to leaving it to an ex who you do not get along with no restrictions.<br>

Check for leaks. Be sure the intake for air is clear and no insects have made it a home. No doubt you have checked the oil level for the compressor.

If it is running slow rpms and you don't have any belt slippage, I believe you will find it the compressor as electric motors don't normally just loss rpms. But then you did not say if it was an gas or electric driven or I missed it. My guess is it probably is not turning slow, rather the rings in the compressor is worn reducing the compression.

If that is what you want check around with older farmers.

Over the years I have done some broadcasting and disking in seeds. No corn but have grain and soybeans with good success. If you are having a problem with the disk cutting too deep, try decreasing the angle of the blades. That should move less dirt giving you less coverage.

Seems like it would be very dangerous. If you cut it back and welding an end on it for safety, no doubt it would create a problem with not being able to discharge the clippings.

How about a rear discharge mower?
