If you really want the old style spike tooth drag you may can find one or two from an older farmer. In my part of the world they are not used on the farm any longer and often are in the way.

You know this but the front axle pivots. I knew that also. But I still used a large single jack and to switched rear tires. When the second tire came off, almost lost tractor.

I used a 601 Workmaster which is newer than the N's. If you buy the tractor be sure you install an over running PTO clutch, it really could save your life.

In my part of the world the price of those tractors has been dropping. As a dealer pointed out to me and the age has been pointed out already, those who grew up with this tractor are not doing much buying any more. This seems to hold true with most collectors.

Go to previous post by Murf and see what he uses on job sites. I think they are the containers used for over seas shipping but I am not sure. Some of those containers or rentable. They are also buyable.

Is the Amdro product a Block or a Bait? I was thinking their product is a Bait.

I think when you find a mound within 10 or so feet on fire ants popping up it is the same mount. No tracking collars needed. It may be a new hatching but you need to kill the live ants and the eggs. That is why a bait is suppose to be best or a product that really floods the mound.

There are some reasonbily new powders that you sprinkle over the mound without water that does good. I have also had good success (not a term often used with fire ants) with the product they advertise as last all season which means 2 to 3 months. I have used two or three different brands and had about the same success with each. At this moment there was one brand we had the best success with but really not sure now which it was. It was the brand Sam's sold if that helps.

I by more accident than anything else found out a couple of ounces of malathon not diluted poured directly into the mounds works very fast and seems to be as good as anything else. I don't think you are where you will find the product but if you do ask for tobacco bed dust. It is labelled in some states for fireants but not in all. It is very dangerous and seriously do not haul inside your vechile. Put in bed of pickup or such and do not store in you house. You can smell it in brand new containter. It is strong. Just sprinkle that over the mound and it normally takes care of it. There are some brands of a powder that is sort of like this but not as strong that Wal Mart sells as does Lowes and Home Depot.

Yet there is much owed to those who founded each and those over the years who gave all for their country. Sometimes never understanding nor agreeing with the reason but they were faithful. Not only did they improved the lives of their fellow countryman but the lives of most of the world. Some of these heroes used guns or bombs, some treated the injured, some stood in halls of justice and law and some stood in the pulpits. <br>

To those here who served and still do thank you, to those who suffered an injury, and to those who lost a family member thank you more than words can say. Without those sacrifices my children and grand would not have the freedom today that is often forgotten or taken for granted. <br>

I hope all have a great Fourth of July. Well I must admit hope some who wish our country harm not to have a good one. God Bless each of you and each warrior today. <br>

I agree with the story telling around the fire. But gee whiz, do you realize how hard it would be to get the likes of the cat hunters and tractor rollers and traffic cop story tellers around a fire at one time? Impossible to round us such talent. It surely would be on TV. Guess it could be called CUT Comedy Tellers or such.

Be safe, have fun, cut grass move dirt.

In being safe you may need ear protecton for cutting grass. I use it. Eye protection is also good. It is amazing the path a little rock or such will take from a spinning blade.

Funniest story I have ever heard that is suppose to be true was a few years ago. Cop was at a service station at last traffic light to beach in NC when a older pickup burned rubber taking off towards the beach as the light turned green.

He failed to catch him and gave up only to have the pickup pass him going back into town. When he did get him stopped he wanted to see what the guy had under the hood. They say he dropped his jaw as he raised the hood to find the engine area empty.

Seems the souped up engine was in the bed. I don't remember if he was charged, towed or what.

There are always a center percentage of dealers and end buyers who are not happy with a brand or company they work with for many different reasons and this is true for all products. That is why the new resturant does so good at first. (not all of course)

Where I saw this being done and worked great was not a frying pan for a stove. It was about a 1 foot by 2 foot or larger pan with large gas burners under it. We probably were putting about 5 to 7 pounds possibly 10 pounds per fry.

Have an idea, how about a TP tractor ride with fish frys or such each day. We need to be sure WW has plenty of time for his recipes. I am not Catholic but Fridays is fish day, correct?

It is my impression some of these matteress don't come with a plasctic cover over them as the traditional ones do. The shipping of the traditional ones required. There is at least one of these companies that give you the 30 day in home that ships in small boxes. Watch their tv commercial as the man and women eacht tote abox up stairs.

Mabye these spray it with roundup? There is a real possibility they do have a GAS chamber method to sterlized it. Remember, RIP.

I have a friend who's sister lives on the UP. I have a picture of his Tacoma pickup in their yard one Thanksgiving and you can't tell what it is. It was just a dusting they told him.

Here it would have been worse than a hurricane (Cat II).
