WOW funny how old threads come up. It was 2 weeks after my post I'm in the coronary unit.

I miss Spam and lots of other good stuff. But like Greg said in other thread once in a while.

Of course it wasn't just Spam I'm sure.

Nice project. They worked great for limb wood up to 4 maybe 5 inch stuff. Bigger stuff required 2 stout men to lift and carry wood to saw. Anything bigger than buzz saw wood was usually reserved for lumber or a 2 man bucking saw.
Back in the day if you could buy a chain saw it weighed a lot. Haven't seen a old saw in years really do not have any fond memories to want to look. I was barely big enough to lift it.
Good luck with your project. Enjoy. Safety is paramount I have seen stick wood thrown hard and far when something binds or catches.

Above all else be safe and have lots of respect for it.

Starting to see some. Was over Watkins Glen Sat they had .22lr and .223. I just received 2400 rds of 5.56/.223 I'd ordered in Nov. Still waiting for 5K rds of .224 55gr SP for reloading.

If it turns over it should run some way shape or form. Might not be pretty.

As KT said check fluids. Me I do not have very much confidence in the quality of most public paid employees.

I'd check the fuel level and fuel system some dumb SOB could have shut off the valve. Who Knows?

Heart issues are killers. Cancer is a killer. Just one is kinda quick and clean.

Diet and exercise will hopefully prolong the inevitable. Trust me I am still down the 60+ lbs. Was down 75 but exercise, weights, bicycling have put 10+ of lean on me. That requires a certain amount of calories to maintain. Problem I see with that or either the body adjusted is the sugar ha crept up a little.

The good news is I can run longer farther and a tad faster each month. Bicycle on Sat am 35+ miles usually 2.5 to 4 hours depending on how far I go.

Anyways where I was going with all this is: Recovery is a good thing take your time and monitor your heart rates while exercising. Prevention is better but if it's gonna happen being in shape helps more with recovery.

I work in a sand and gravel operation. We use water truck for dust control. My pick up stays a mess. Use the drive thru's during the winter when I can't stand it any more. During the summer have the Hotsey out often and wash truck. Do a hand job on truck a couple of times a year.

Now the Harley's are another story. Minimum of weekly usually every ride either complete hand job or quickie with pressure washer to remove bug guts. They are detailed at least every 2 weeks with quickie polish each wash getting the hi points.

During the week if just a couple of short trips I may not wash, just do windshield.

That's weird timing. If you are mechanically inclined it's pretty straigth forward. JDGreen did good again.

My 4400 leaked new just out of warranty changed no problem. Pushing 11 years and 2000 hrs leakin again. Will add oil until spring.

Asphalt in front of house and part of drive. The rest is millings (ground up asphalt crushed). Those areas I pack the first snows to freeze in so I hope to never see surface until spring. But the thaw cycles tend to mess that up.

The widows is crushed limestone runner crush. Hers is tough hi crown and ruts. So the blower does catch a fair amount of stone with the freeze thaw cycles.

I'd use a 15-40 in engine. If the transmission and hydraulics use the same sump a universal hyd oil from tractor supply would be find. If trans and hyd seperate any gear oil would work 75-90 for general light work and a heavier weight for extended heavy work

I have seperate sets of wheels and mount 4 studded winter tires on all vehicles here. I do run the TPMS in the wheels bought them on the internet $25 apiece.

I buy most of the generic stuff after market. Many parts you can only get from the dealer.

Filters, oils, antifreeze, grease, pins, bulbs, bushings, battery, tires. I am going to check avaiability of air filters. From commercial sources.

Your exaust is a prime example of creative thinking. $70 for a flasher is crazy. But that is the problem with design changes every couple years. I might be willing to look into a pair of LED flashers so they match before I hand over that much$ for 1.

What throttle setting are you using when starting?

I suspect you need to add some throttle 1/3, 1/2 maybe more as tractor starts back throttle off some.

Skip losing the weight was easy with the right motivation. Keeping the weight off is the challenge now.

Lots of exercise so have to eat more to burn more exercising and have to burn more because I eat more this is a dog chasing its tail thing.

Trying to come up with the right balance of calories and exercise.

Toughest part is the weights at the gym losing fat and replacing with lean causes a weight gain so am trying to keep everything leaned down to stay at 170-175. 7.3% body fat now.

Currently I'm back up to 177 bicycle not helping size at all so will cut back some carbs and burn a little meat.

Pound for pound you'll put more HP to the ground with the 4x4. You may want to add some weight if needed for tilling.

The bogging down issue? I am guessing you do not have the RPM up in the power band to start with. You should be up near the PTO RPM range maybe 3-400 below depending on the power band of your tractor.

When working the tractor I'm always up in the power band near or at PTO and a little more when brush hogging heavy growth.

Maybe you solved it. You will have to get a manual or google it for carb specs. Float inside carb
