Started using a bettery tender after buying the "Blue Tractor" (HD Heritage) it maintains with out over charging. I have Batteries on shelf during non use and just switch every couple four weeks. Lawn mower has its own as does the HD. Next year I'm buying a 6volt one and a new battery for the M and that will always stay connected while in the shed.

WOW can't believe no one replied yet.

1st I'd look at the sheet metal is it all dented showing someone not to particular about tractor.
2nd Look at any areas that should be greased has it been. Not just fresh grease either.
3rd do they have maintenance records.
4th look at all fluids for contanimation
5th tires have they been abused spun cut
6th start how easy smoke? does it clear up. hours on meter.
7th clutch free travel? or is it hydro? does it shift smooth does it move smoothly no grabbing or jerking.

Good luck in your quest. Those tractors were made over a number of years. I saw none under $10,000

When ever I see something about mice or rats it reminds me of story Comedian Jerry Clower tells about ridding the old fallen down chicken coop of rats. Jerry tell it it funny but here go: He tell about pouring lots of gas and oil down a very large rat hole and throwing in a match. Out ran a hundred burning rats and they were headed for the filled hay barn.

You have to have Jerry tell it for full effect.

Just a thought. Have you checked the pickup screen? I think I recall the steering is the last thing to get oil. I'd take a look at the screen and or the filter also.

Frank on my 04 it was around 80k I drive about 35K a year. My wifes 04 now has about 35k on it they, I think, are starting to hum. I've got to check them on a longer drive other then her short brake burning trips to town.<br>

I know the sound and am confident hers are making noise. The bearings which are assembled in a hub are around $300 each. If I remember right.<br>

I never did a baseline of the good bearings but you have to go in from the back to get the hub. Check L & R to compare. I suspect you will hear they long b4 u check 4 heat. But the heat will help isolate the problem area.

I'd try some Blaster or othe penetrant. Then try a hardened 1/4 inch bolt.

Otherwise I would have to concern about take loader off tip on its side and WHAIL the snot out of the pin to remove it. then put in new bushing and pin.

Ken no problem at all. Actually hearing and eye protection can not be talked about enough.

Just got the annual hearing report back on the Miners and all but 2 have some to significant loss. The 2 that do not always are wearing plugs or muffs. Plus they keep crap out of the ears.

Mark I have the same issues. I run the low-vis also. The 3ph will leak down the 1/4" or so and then self raise. The loader is the same it leaks down even with tractor running but that does not self raise. I am not easy on the equipment so some seal or o-ring leakage as long as it still works does not concern me now. It did when I first noticed it.

Now even with nothing on the 3ph the arms will drop when parked. When it was new they would stay up a week or more. I guess it like growing old...

It's a 02 with about 1700 hours on it now.

Width = Stability! You run the old narrow front ends on a side hill farm then then run wide front ends even with the pivot point you'll know the difference.

Maybe you can get lucky and there is and inspection panel there abouts allowing you to get the bulk out.

If not I have see a whole tube put into a heavy truck with none ever touching the pressure plate or clutch disk.

Some grease getting onto the disk is not a castraphoic event. It might be a little grabby but not unbearable

EW No I get bigger valve and lines. Pump is a PTO pump from a live bottom trailer set up. Only put the pump in the splitter circuit. The other pump would run the other lif and the some time to be installed grapple.

I do like your idea of screw on front of skid steer as long as no one ever gets near it. Sit in cab drive around screwing wood and if get stuck reverse it and move on.

Its a nicer blue than the NH.

Typically use AR out to 250. 22-250 out to 300. 308 varmint 400-500. BUT it hard here to get distance without shooting across a valley which usually has a road in the bottom of it. That's illegeal here and I'm a honorable ciizen most of the time.

The XP100 7mmbr is a good 200 yard gun.

I just do not have enough time to shoot and stay really proficient.

If I only needed some type of light weight root rake this thing "MIGHT" be ok. I would not buy it!

Putting tines on my bucket much cheaper. The other issue I see is lack of a grapple.

But to each his own. I think PT Barnum had a saying...
