Geeeee Whizzzzzz Dennis! Glad to hear it not worse. Hope it heals as well as my leg is. I could feel your pain. Been there. I am just weaning off pain killers. I'm still non weight bearing. I touch or twist just so and can bring tears to eyes. WHAT EVER YOU DO BE CAREFUL ABOUT BUMPING IT!

I'd check the PTO by insuring it not bent seal not leaking. Turn it on and use something that wont move center marked and look for wobble. No wobble IMO would indicate no damage.

Safety features are there for operators that have a brain cramp and forget a known procedure. Shut of PTO etc.

Step ladders my favorite. Hair driers do not use in showers. This list of STUPIDITY GOES ON FOREVER.

The big boys use a large pair nipper cutter,pliers. They have a rod welded on one handle with a slide weight.

I works just like a slide hammer with a solid bite on nail. I watched these guys only use one slide most of time sometimes 2-3 depending on wood condition.

Sounds like you are missing a pick up tube, If the inlet is above the oil level. Or its just not connected.

Most have pick up tubes and a screen you can access.

If a toy went thru toilet hard to imagine it stopping in pipe to tank.

I'd try a toilet snake first then move to first clean out.

New system I'd lean more toward a burr in a coupling area and has built up with hair and paper. But that is a WAG. (wild ass guess)

For the original problem ag tires are the answer. Ags are very usable on all types of terrain. My old tractor had them I mowed my yard with them, used them everywhere. They probably not good on lawn. However this 35hp tractor has turfs I use them doing everything. Woods, mud, backhoe, snow, grading, plowing ground etc. Yup sometimes I need chains. I'll probably never go to another tire for all around use.

It could be several things. Bent shift fork? Lift 1st gear gate out of way and try just a little farther in. What does gear box oil look like? full of metal, chunks, fillings etc. If oil full you'll have to take the gear box apart.

Gotta add my $$$ to this I am so PO'd that the same poeple that scream about fuel efficiency are the same ones that create ways to get the Corvair, Bettle, Geo Metro, Honda crx off the roads. because of stupid bumpers etc.

You have 2 options here, if the current one is damaged beyond repair.

1st locate a used one and swap especially if you want or need to keep the tractor original.

2nd get a after market dry air cleaner assembly self contained and mount it put the hoses on you need to make the connections.

Murf Spend 2-3 hours a day on phone while broken. Might as well go to work leg bothers enough so I sit in office or PU and take care of business with leg propped up. This is the worst time to get injured. Oldest boy , one in woods, dealing with cancer and on his 4th chemo fortunately boy was well enough to be there and save foot and he was not the one hit.<br>

Easiest way to drive steel is a pipe with a heavy drive cap and 2 handles and hammer them down. You could rent a larger impact hammer like they use to drive ground rods in hard soil. Just need generator to run.

Get a set of spacers for right set and have welded to new rims cut out other. DO NOT WELD WITH TIRES MOUNTED!

There is no one in Central NY paying 500 a ton for lime. The trucking cost is your most expensive cost. Not sure about lime sources in your area. But you can buy it in the east west thruway valley cheap trucking probably $35 a ton 34 ton load to get it there. Rent a spreader from a farm supply.

A 16 ton load could come in on a tri axle whole load should only be 500.

My 8 acres farming lot only has PH 4 5 -
