After thinking about it for a bit, my guess is that you are wanting to convert a rear mount snow blower to a front mount? If this is your goal there are sources for small gearboxes that will do that by mounting them somewhere in the drive system between the PTO and the blower. The surplus Center comes to mind for having unusual things of that sort. Frank.

Me and jeff "Huggin" doesn't sound good, stern handshake, yes, huggin, NO!!!
Our one daughter married into a famuly of huggers, don't matter if you never saw them before or not, there all huggin us. Must be my aftershave, since I switched from kerosene to Aqua Velva.

Yes, that is far above a normal wear pattern for any part of a tractor or mower.
Is something mis aligned putting an abnormal strain on the gearbox, is the lubricant in the gearbox full and of the proper type?
How have the hydraulic lines wore out? from rubbing on something, being pinched, vibration cracks?
Whar does the dealer say? Give us more specific info, maybe we can help.

Most falls find bumper to bumper traffic along the Mississippi here in NE Iowa with leaf lookers. Another week would have been about peak then a couple nights of mid twenties and drizzle to follow that made it a short season.

I can't speak from experience being I've never owned a Kubota but they will have parts for a long time, they have a large dealer network too. Being you had good results from your Massey and the old Ford that pretty well speaks of you as being a good caretaker of your machines. Any brand can and will break down but when it does you'll find parts.

The 4010 John Deere farm tractors that came out in 59 or 60 had a weird system like that. the starter and generator were 24 volt and the reat of the system was 12. I had one and it was a problem, finally they had a replacement starter and gen that was 12 volt, maybe Belarus has a changeover thing like that now. Frank.

I had somewhat the same issue with a carburetor on a Chrysler slant six industural engine in a forklift.
The carb needed a tune up kit, nobody had a kit, finally a local mechanic who works on old Fords recognized the parts as being identical to an early fiftys Ford six cylinder pickup engine. All kinds of them available, at that time anyway.
Maybe find a website where Ford folks hang around, somebody will have a light bulb come on.

We have walnuts that need picked up but they usually aren't any good so I got the Gator blades on again this fall and go walnut smackin with the mower. With the plastic grass chute tipped up they go quite a ways.
I didn't know that Murf was in the "Geezer" category yet. The young guys like fast cars, us old guys are content with lawn mowers.

Only way to know for sure without taking the pump off would be to find a way to tap in to a pressure line coming from the pump with a pressure guage.
Does having the tractor warm, transmission and all make a difference over having everything overnight cold?
I'm not a Ford person, but surely on the internet you can find rebuilt or aftermarket pumps for less than Ford.

OK, you guys want to split hairs on the fuel mileage thing?
There use to be an old guy around town who was a bit wacko anyhow, but he wouldn't fill the gas tank in his car beyond half full. He said he wasn't going to burn gas to haul an extra ten gallons of gas around that he didn't need. I think he weighed around three hundred but he didn't leave part of himself at home, he took all of himself along.

I've seen people use a tiller as ballast and I'll admit to doing it a time ot two myself, but the consequences of crunching a tiller by accidently backing into something can get pricey. The box blade on the other hand will likey mash up what you back into and not the boxblade. Another thing I use the box blade for is a parking brake. Having bum legs that don't work very good makes locking and unlocking the oparking brake kinda hard for me to do. Frank.

OK, now a question for my not so brilliant electrical mind.

The crank on the old wall telephone turned a generator that made the juice to call "Central" to call someone else, then what were the batteries for?

Antique stores think them old relics are priceless, we tore them apart for the magnets. Dumb Kids anaway.

The camera battery I spoke of is in a Nikon camera that I blew the biggest end of a grand for at a real camera store, not a Wally world type place where you don't expect any after the sale support. When I went to the store for a battery the kid said they didn't sell batteries for my three year old camera. Only one internet source for fourty some bucks plus freight. Really surprised me when the Batteries Plus store had them on the shelf for less than than bucks.

That is a sign of not a good dealer, but a great dealer, we need to support their type with our business.

Remiove the fuel line from the inlet side if the fuel filter, if the fuel level in the tank is above the filter inlet you should have flow, if not something is plugged.
If you have checked this and changed the filter there may be a hand primer pump to bleed the injector lines, your owners manual will tell you how.
If all the above fail and you aren't an experienced diesel repair person I'd call the dealer for their help.

We ran thru some tar with the white Trailblazer and splattered up the left side pretty good. Does anyone have a favorite product to get the stuff off? Or sometning to not use?<br>

I'm not up to speed on the price of used tractors, so I won't venture a guesss. Not having hydro isn't a life or death issue but not having four wheel drive is especia;lly when you get a front loiader. Frank
