I really like the look of that machine, but then I like the look of all the old stuff. This "euro" trend we have been in for decade or two doesn't do much for me, especially when it comes to "bubble boats".

If I were in your position, I would pull that pan and worry about the torque later. You may be making a repair from the bottom end or you may be pulling the thing apart. Either way, start tearing down and keep the bolts with each respective component.

Once you find the problem, then you can gather the information needed to stick it back together. I doubt you will have a problem doing that. Good luck!

That's what I was going to say Greg. At one time my company used dual fuel trucks and switching over was a matter of turning a selector knob. The fleet garage installed the kits.

The problem is, I can't see the opening, I was spraying the back side of the thing due to the opening facing the siding trim. I can't access it. If today's attack failed my only alternative is to attempt to inject this monster from the outside on a ladder. Hopefully I can remove some trim without them "awakening".

I have one of those Coleman 5.5kv units that I purchased years ago for around $500. It's not the best engine, has an 11 HP Tecumseh I/C that usually starts first or second pull.

I have run it steady, 24 hours a day, during ice storms. Usually change the oil every day or so. The tank will run for 8 hours, so when I was working the storms, the genset would rest when it ran out of fuel until I got home.

If I stay where I am, I will install something more durable that is designed to run on propane. That motor home idea is not a bad one either DR!

Unless you have an awful amount of plowing to do, why not curl your bucket back a bit and use it to plow? Seems I recall a pipe affair that Murf designed for his loaders, so if you want to get fancy, try that.

I use my 2910 loader in combination with my rear blade to plow 450' of driveway as well as my garage apron and my barnyard. All of it is gravel base topped with stone. I don't even run chains on the Titan industrials. I do have a rear blower but have not needed it this year. Only mount the thing if I have to.

As far as the Curtis loader blade is concerned, you are far better off converting an old truck plow. That gives you a chain retainer (the lift point on the truck) and allows the plow to "float" with the surface. You will find using the float position on the tractor in conjunction with a loader blade is useless. The front wheels lift off the ground as soon as you encounter resistance and all steering is gone (unless you have a JD, they have the turn brakes opposite the hydro control).
