Same thing here guys. I need a set of Gator blades for mine to help the process a bit. The last few weeks I have been mowing every three days, if it goes four it really looks terrible.

And last year I never put any fertilizer down.

Need to go out to the barn and finish preparation for the boat launch on Friday. I worked late last night, arrived home from a training seminar and then did all the associated computer work so I did not need to mess with it today. But here I sit on the computer, must be a sickness.

It is not a big deal to run 100' PE conduit and install a short post with a weatherproof outlet. You can rent a commercial edger with a new blade to dig the little trench for you, probably around thirty bucks for half a day.

Hardest part will be routing the electric from your box to the outside wall, and depending upon your circumstances, that could be a simple job as well. I hate to see extension cords used for anything other than that for which they are designed. Asking for trouble. Good luck.

I won't go into politics, but if you look around, it's easy to see that uniformed people tend to believe anything they see or hear on TV.

People trying to sell something simply take advantage of that fact. Do I agree with it, of course not. Yet people need to take responsibility for themselves. As was already mentioned here, call, question and probe for the truth.

Mowing through those tall weeds would be a pain in a small tractor. I bought my 2910 with the intention of being able to use it (when and if the Chalmers bit the dust) to rotary cut my fields as I like being as high above the pollen as possible.

In fact, I have given some thought to using a sickle bar to eliminate having to drive through the stuff.

I have a 2910 with the Curtis Cab, removable canvas doors and back curtain. Also have the heater and switch box. I use the tractor to operate my snow blower and my loader for winter use.

I have not been impressed with Curtis products in the past but the cab is decent and I love the heater! It usually drives me out so I need to switch it on and off, but during some of the extreme cold, high winds and heavy snow in February it was just keeping up with the window deicing. I had the fan installed too, which I would not be without.

The one thing I would caution you about is mowing and storage clearance. Do you have any areas your tractor must go which requires folding down the ROPS? If not, you will love having a cab.

Thanks for the concern. I had a doctor visit scheduled for six weeks after I quit the stuff last winter. He disagreed that the Lipitor was causing my problems but I had done enough research to confirm it. I believe that no doctor is going to admit that something with such widespread use is bad, think of the law suits. But about one in ten is subject to some nasty side effects according to the manufacturer's own research! Too bad for you if you are in that minority.

My numbers are now where they should be simply by watching what I eat and supplementing with fish oil.

My former manager was crippled up so badly with the statin he switched to natural remedies (red rice yeast?) and now has excellent numbers.

Bottom line is that I learned not to rely on pills to fix everything. I did more damage to myself by not researching in advance and by not doing everything I could to bring my numbers down naturally. You know, that comfortable feeling you get when sitting with your doctor and his intern and they tell you that "you really need to take this pill, it is good for you".

So for Dennis and the others here that have lost weight and are trying to improve their health through diet, way to go! In my view, carbohydrate reduction and elimination of sugars is the key. Without exception, every time I have lost weight in the past and returned to a high-carb diet I pile the fat back on.

Boy aren't the labor prices up there! But in the dealer's defense, the new cars are being sent out the door at cost most of the time. Some of the used stuff they can make a buck on if they don't wholesale them. They need to make a buck to stay in business and I want them there for when my truck is in need.

I only wish we could afford all of that seafood every day. We do partake most regularly though.

Speaking of sausage, we have a couple of great German sausage shops near us. Even the pepperoni is homemade. Since the wife is mostly Kraut, we have our share of it too!

They sent me the link to the correct tool and it did the job, fortunately. I have since installed Registry Mechanic and also checked the registry since I found some FireFox extensions contained spy-ware. One in particular contained an overseas dial-up connection that I needed to get in and delete.

I am no Curtis fan but the cab I purchase for my Kubota is really quite nice. I will attempt to add a picture to my photos.

It is a hard top and glass windshield with wiper but the doors are soft. I like being able to remove them easily for summer use. Cost was very reasonable.

Has Anyone purchased or built a cab for TC35

I loved the 2000 Tacoma four-banger I had but the wife simply could not get used to such a small truck. I like the older body style too! Of all the imported trucks they have always been my favorite.

That said, I now have a 2005 Dodge Quad-Cab 4x4, HD250 Diesel that cranks out over 16 MPG around town and averaged 18 MPG the first few tanks when I drove it to Maine in a snow storm during the break-in period (running in FWD much of the time). Have not taken a long trip since that time to check it.

But man do I love that diesel!

I agree with Murf, rules are something I would not like to see and in my view would drive people away. I belong to other boards (unrelated to tractors) and to be perfectly honest this one is leaps and bounds above them for it's lack of "snobbery" or gender abuse. This was one friendly board when I joined years ago and in my view it remains so.

I am no tractor expert, but have through my life's experience, acquired knowledge about many things that may be useful to other members. How often has anyone had a face to face conversation with a friend about just one thing? Try that with your neighbor sometime, doesn't work, so "Off Topic" to me is something better enforced at a board meeting. The only thing I take issue with is when someone becomes abusive or disrespectful.

We do not need to regulate to accommodate the lowest common denominator that might show up here. If and when it occurs, that particular individual will be the focus.

Just my two cents :)

Tongue-in-cheek Dennis :). I love mine and I did password protect it so hopefully the only ones that will be on it other than me will be by permission.

The beauty of this is that now I can use my laptop on the picnic table out back in the summer. Really adds new definition to a home office.
