I had same problem - same tractor. I had to change the oil twice. I noticed particles in filter also.. That clogs it up. The hose change - probably had something to do with it. Maybe they reversed something. Or maybe they let loose the particles into the system. Flushing it out multiple times may be required. Also using the right oil is important according to Kubota. I had similar problem and did multiple flushes and cleaning the filter til it worked correctly.

I have had a B7500 for 8yrs. It is cat.1. I plow snow all the time with ag tires, and haven't had any problems. I plow 3 neighbors plus my own. I have used a PHD on my tractor, there is about 3 inches ground clearance. I had turf tires when I bougt it and changed to ags,and they are smaller dia. For me its been a great tractor,never been back to the dealer. Hope this helps

We are located in a small rural community were we know most of the local landscapers, so a couple of new mowers on a landscrapers trailer that we don't recognize will wave a big red flag. Due to the reported thefts in our area more than likely they are being moved to other areas of he country.<br>

I hope this helps to clear up some things up...

The clutch on Kubota hydro(L30 series, some B series) serves as...
1. A safety switch
2. An aid to starting in cold weather...by seperating the transmission from the engine, there is less energy needed to start in 10 below and lower that the other tractors don't have.
3. An emergency stop of both the tractor and PTO (in conjunction with the brakes of course)

Next, no the BX2200 does not have a clutch. It's PTO is hydraulically actuated. The pedals on the left as stated before are the diff. lock and the parking brake set.

The brake pedals on the right are keeping with both the original design of kubotas and all tractors really. It wasn't until recently that JD moved it to the left with their hydros only. This, along with the whole hydro pedal design of the JD and Kubota can be argued about till the cows come home. To me, the Kubota pedal just makes the most sense and it is virtually impossible to go in the wrong direction. Again...not going to settle this argument anytime soon.

The BX series Kubotas do have operator presence control as of late last year.

The 2210 will lift more than the 2200, but the 2200 will lift the bucket to full height full of any standard material (sand, dirt, rocks, etc) in it. So it becomes unnecessary to make it lift more really.

The 2210 is also wider and therefore has a wider bucket which would require the extra lift capacity. That could go either way. Sometimes space is an issue, but being wider the JD should be more stable.

The Kubota mower decks are just plain better hands down. I don't think anyone can argue this with a straight face. Kubota decks are deeper, thicker and easier to clean. There is a reason the JD decks are yellow...because they are cheesy. Hey, I just thought of that. I crack myself up, lol. If anyone has any good Kubota or John Deere jokes, please pass them on. That should make a good topic.

And yes, I am a salesperson at a dealership. Some may think that makes me bias, but everything above save typos, is true. Cya, have fun shopping. You may also want to make a decision early on plastic or metal though.

There is a big difference between a 3010 and a 3130 and if they are the same price, get a L3130.(If it is reasonably priced to begin with of course.) Larger axles, better 3-pt, more gears in the GST, more lift capacity with the heavier loader. These new 3130's have been around for a few years in Japan so the bugs have been worked out. They both with have a Quick Attach/Detach Loader, but I think you mean a QA for the bucket. Whether it is directly from kubota or an aftermarket, I don't see much difference here. A skid steer style quick attach isn't a very complicated device.

I always crinch when I hear someone putting a snowblade on loader frame. I'm not sure if that is what you are doing, but the loader frame is simply not designed for the diagonal stress that an angled snow blade causes. There is a reason why most manufacturers don't offer a front snowblade through them that utilize the loader frame. If you are talking about a stand alone front blade then that is better. Of course a guy can move a lot of snow with a front bucket.

Anyway, I'm getting off the subject. Both are great machines, but for the same money it is no option. I'm not sure how much less the 3010 would have to be make it worth someone's while, maybe $1000 or so. Of course if they are gone, they are gone so I'm not sure you have much of a choice by the sounds of it unless you want used or another dealer has one.

Kubota ships complete tractors across and also does some building and assembling in GA. Another plant is under construction or was newly completed. Some of the BX's are build here I guess, and the lawn and garden stuff is built here mostly. Why is GA so attractive to these manufacturers? Tax incentives? Union/non-Union issues?

Yeah, I agree that was too broad a statment as I said before. I'm just doing some research and looking at these discussion boards and thought I'd put my two cents in. Don't want to start any fights or anything, but I'm not going to say all tractors are created equal when I honestly don't think that they are. I'll be more careful with my words next time.
