I really do need to qualify my explanation. The 6 to 1 difference in tire size was not a production tractor. A friend refitted the rears with swather tires and left the front garden tractor tires the same. Also it was not 4x4. Additionally, I stated a square inch to square inch comparison which would not be valid unless the tread width was identical. Sorry about the confusion.
