I have recently purchased a Yanmar EF352 & want to install a 12v aux power outlet near ROPS - fuse box has a 10amp Beacon spot but no beacon fitted to tractor - can I tap into this circuit without interfering with other electrics?<br>

Also operations manual supplied with tractor is very poor - where can I find a decent manual.

I have a TC33D and according to the operator's manual which also covers the TC29D:

Engine oil capacity with filter = 4.2 US Quarts
I use NH Diesel Engine Oil
15W-40 in summer and 10W-30 in winter

Rear axle with HST transmission = 8.8 US Gallons
NH 134 hydraulic oil
Don't forget HST and hydraulics filters

Rear axle with Gear transmission = 8.6 US Gallons
Manual lists 80W90 and 85W140 EP Gear Oil

If all else fails - call a NH dealer. Hope this helped.

For what it's worth - I bought a new glow plug timer (control unit) and power relay today. Swapped out the old ones and everything seems OK now - thank goodness. Looks like all the relays are under the right (looking forward) lower cowl. Wasn't hard to work on except the loader made things less than convenient. The dealer said the timer was probably all that needed to be replaced but the power relay was just $13 so I thought good time while I'm in there. They also showed a third glow plug light relay that was a mystery and I didn't replace it. This is the fourth winter I've had the tractor - bought it new and have 500 hours with this being the first time I've had to wrench on it other than normal service. Thanks again for your advice.

Buy a bearcat 70554. It chips and shreds and works with my 16hp Kubota B7100 even with the one speed blower using some power. Look closly, several companies buy and house label the Bearcat. Examples are: Woods, Walker-Schork and at least one other that I have seen. Woods dealers want $500 more for the same machine that I bought. The blower is great to put the chips where you want them, but be sure that it is downwind of you. Lots of fine dust from rotting wood, bark, and leaves.

I just bought a 70554 with the one speed blower. I got it on trial to see if it would work with my Kubota B7100 tractor. It does. The blower lifts the chips and spewes them out at about 6'. Unless you grossly overloaded the shredder bin, I don't see how it would be possable to clog the blower. Unless you have a much larger tractor, you can't chip faster than you can grind and blow the chips. Nothing gets to the blower until it has passed the screen. You could possably clog the screen with small yard waste but you would have to shovel it in very fast. I just finished cleaning up where I had split logs, including many partially rotten ones. Lots of hard and soft stuff. No sign of engine slowdown as I shoveled it in. I know nothing about the 2 speed blower.

I bought a new TC33D, my neighbor bought a used orange 29something. It looks like the K tractor is a little larger and built slightly heavier but a lot less convenient with knobs and levers scattered all over the place - the 3-point is rude and crude. I really like the NH except you can only get on from the left because of the loader joystick and you have to dismount the fuel filter to change it. Hey if you don't like boomer blue you can get the exact same thing in Case-IH red.

I bought a TC33D new last fall (in Michigan)and it had a bad battery - wouldn't hold charge for more than a week or two. The dealer replaced it under warranty but it had bubbled acid out the top and sprayed it all over the front of the radiator. It was a real mess - I cleaned it up with water and baking soda to neutralize the acid. I don't think any serious damage was done other than burning off some paint on the radiator and plate under the battery. I sprayed the radiator with WD40, the battery plate with black oil (used for chains and 5th wheels) and greased the battery posts. With the new battery we seem to be OK now.

Really don't know about the PTOs - I've never used them.
