Well the verdict is in. After they sent the results of all the tests they did to the john deere fix-it guys, they finaly got the go ahead to replace the controler. This part is apparantly worth over $600 canadian, so its no wonder they left it as a last resort. I'll let you know how it runs when I get it back. I am going to check out that vin #, and I hope for their sake, my tractor doesnt fall under the #'s you guys gave. It would have saved a lot of time and effort, both on my part and the dealers, if that info were more readily available. Later.
