I have a 3ph blower on my BX1800 and really like it.I have a 500ft gravel driveway.The adjustment of the top link is important.I feel you would be better off with a blower,but I've never used a blade to move snow.I have used the loader on my Ford 2120.Takes awhile.With a 5ft blower,down and back,you would be done.

I have a 2120 Ford 40hp and I mounted a 8ft Fisher plow in the bucket.I cut the mounting bracket off from an old truck and put a piece metal behind it and drilled two holes into the bucket and bolted this to the back side of the loader.I do have to angle it by hand,but it moves easily on the edge of the loader.Really works well.I used this for 4 years.Works great for pushing snow into a place that you can't drive into.The loader sticks out a couple feet from the end of the tractor and the plows sticks out a couple feet too.I have a BX1800 with a rear PTO blower now.The wife prefers this over plowing.

I have a 2120 and I use Ford oil in it for diesel motors.It's not all that much more,but I feel safer using it.Gives me a piece of mine.

Wow,beautiful! What a tractor!I love those old tractors.My Dad bought a 1954 NAA new and I still have it with a side mounted mower on it.I would never sell it.I go to old tractor shows and look buy the hour.Yes,you need a newer tractor,I have 2,but they all have their place for work on my land.

I have a BX1800 with a 54 inch deck.Reason is I or really the wife,mows around our mile of stone walls and the old pasture.It's not too even in alot of places. I was concerned about the deck almost hitting the dirt on one side but being up in the air on the other side.That's why I went with the 54 and not the 60.Now if I was only mowing the lawn,I would of went with the 60.

BX 22 54 quot or 60 quot which is a better buy
