Thanks for all the info guys. I've pretty much figured out the above mentioned potential issuses. I guess what I'm more concerned about is the finished look if it dosen't scalp the lawn.

Where abouts in New England are you looking? I live in MA. and I'm also looking for a new machine. From what I've found the price you were given is a bit high for that setup. You can do better.
