Thanks for the tips. It does have 1.5" singles on it now. Actually the valving thing is what's holding us up! I called a local hydro guy and he was asking me all kinds of questions. I told him about the available port and that it was just capped off and I was planning on running the new loader "drop" line right to it when I took the cap out. He said "not so fast there your fella', we have all kinds of questions that need to be answered first". So I need to get the PN off the valve body to see if it's open or closed circuit, find out if the spools are 3 or 4 way, get the GPM off the pump, get the hyrdo tank capacity, and system PSI. Then he said he could get me the right cylinder. He mentioned that if the valve body was not the right one for double action cyl's, that I could use a "double selector valve".

I'm going to start with a call to a Ford dealer to see if they can help me out any. Will post again once I get this thing figured out!

I did think about reversing the pins, which would gain a couple inches on each side. It just looks a little unstable with the 5' bush hog. On 4' implements I wouldn't hissitate. I may give it a try this spring, will post what I find.

Ahhhhh! The box with piano hinge sounds like the trick. I have a connection with a defense contractor that uses them to cover trigger switches, the red ones like airplanes have. The hard part is going to be finding one that is large enough to cover the key. May end up fabing something custom? Thanks for the feedback, glad I'm not the only one!

Nope, nothing on my end either. I just did my 50hr overhaul and got all filters from the dealer. Seemed like the three filters on my 7205 were almost $100? Still need to replace the fuel filter though.

I started running Rotella in my Cub 7205 at the first oil change, 50hrs. Only has 70 hrs on it now but I can tell that the diesel engine seems to start up better in cold temps.

--------------------------------------------------------- Peters, there's probably not too many people on here that have heard of the DH Beaver, much less seen or flown in one. A friend of mine has had a beaver for a few years and recently purchased an Otter, what an aircraft! He runs a sport camp here in Maine. Must have been neat to see them back in their early days (aren't they over 50 yrs old?). It is unbelievable to seen it come down on floats.....Ed

Finally getting to my 50hr service and man are the costs adding up. Think the 3 filters alone were $100 total. Got some gear oil for the front diff. Went to wal-mart to look through their heavy duty diesel oil selection and everything was 15W-40. My owners manual recommends 10w-30. The only 10w-30 I can find is the usual motor oil I put in my car? Which should I use? Or should I just get the cub cadet brand oil?

Thanks for the silicon spray tip, sounds like a quick fix before starting up the tractor if I encounter conditions like that again. I'll be riping apart the entire blower this spring for a ground up restoration, so the paint will have to wait until then. Hopefully this is the last of the wet snow until the end of the season----------
I went back out last night to even the score with the snow. I was grinding up all that icey crap and throwing it everywhere! Until I got a big chunk of solid ice wedged into the fan blade (goodbye shear bolt!)--------Thanks again, Big Ed
