I'm on the same boat, don't know how I would make if my local dealer was not there to keep me going. Had a leaking oil seal last week, turned out to have been causded by a bad bearing. Yep they have a two week backlog too, machine was looked at, parts ordered overnight and I was working it the next afternoon. Support locl dealers and they will support you.

There are "issues" with everything in life. I bought my NH from a local dealer and am glad I did. 1st I don't think I paid too much, 2nd the sales people, service man. mechs etc know me by name. They have repaired and serviced my machine while still on the trailer, because they know I use the machine to make a living. They have removed parts from new machines to keep me running. I shop the net for attachments etc, then talk to the dealer, I usualy end up buying from him. Maybe I was just lucky to find a good dealer. They are out there.

one more time. I use the grade box as counterweight. 500# located behind the rear wheels on the 3 pt, provides the same efect as 750# of ballast in the tires. The box is removed when you attach the rear mower deck. Thast way when mowing I (just Me) do not have to carry unneeded weight. From you post I understood that you intended to mow and do dirt work. I used my money for part of the cost of the grade box (it has its uses) instead of ballast. It's a free country, you and others can spend their money as they see fit. To each an all have a nice day! If nobody starts any trouble, we will still have enough!

I move my tractor several times a day, though larger and heaver. One avantage to a two axel trailer is that you can disconnect from the truck while loaded. I even load and unload without being connected.

I installed both top and tilt cylinders from Intergrated Engineering about 170 each and the 2nd and 3rd remotes from the dealer at about 180.00 each. I use the 1st remote for a hydraulic auger that quick attaches to the loader bucket, 2nd remote for front to back tilt, and the 3rd remote for side to side tilt.

top and tilt have to unhook to use loader

I own a TC35D, thought about a TC33D at 1st, I wish I had gone for the TC45D, I looked at the 48 this year, it is not the same as a TC45D.
I have put over 900 hours on the 35 in the 1st and 2nd seasons, good machine.

There is nothing better than a good dealer relationship!

I just picked up $9.00 worth of parts, the shop manager spent 30 mins with me going over my pre season service needs. I had a problem with a oil cooler last year while on a job, called the dealer and they asked if I could get the machine back on the traler. I did, took it to them and it was replaced under warranty while still on the trailer. I have been taken into the shop and shown a fitting that they thought that I might not be hitting enough with the grease gun.

I retired from 35 years as a construction superintendent, the company owned many mllions of dollars of equipment. The local Cat dealer would open the parts room any time day or night to keep us running.

I only own one piece of equipment, I know my dealer is there when I need him.

We fight the weather, the ground, people that don't pay, and all the other trials in life, what a blessing not to have to fight with my equipment dealer.

NEVER TAKE A SHOVEL TO A TRACTOR FIGHT!
