After visiting the Proctology/parts department at the local New Holland dealer I think I am the proud owner of a 20k boat anchor.<br>
It developed a crack in the lower left corner mount of the block on the inside corner of the flange.<br>

As is customary... they have never seen this before, but after perusing the net its apparent this problem is fairly prevalent. With 249 hours, synthetic oil and spreading gravel with the new holland loader I guess that's just too much to expect out of an agricultural peice of equipment. These make great lawnmowers, but that seems to be the edge of the engineering capabilities fo rthis product.<br>

Now that the bitchin' is over, does anyone know if a perkins 400 series now in production will matchup with this tractor as Perkins and Shibaura have a joint venturein Georgia????<br>
