Odd thing is that no one has replied as to owning or operating this particular Taylor attachment :-( .
My property has mostly river rocks and I just finished digging the first 16 post holes for a 3 rail fence I'm putting up around 10 acres. The rocks are so dense, I couldn't use a hand post hole digger so it was with a long heavy crow bar to loosen the rocks and a shovel to remove them out of the hole. Each strike with the bar sent jars of pain up each arm and shoulder. So I've decided to bite the bullet and order one.

Is the landscape rake the same as a "rock" rake with curved thines? I've been looking at a 3 pt. 4' rock rake here in Northern Calif for $375 w/o wheels.

My JD 750 shows the battery charge to be 12V while running. Shouldn't it be at lease 13V to charge the battery? I've got to charge it every so often to start, especially if I haven't used it for a couple of weeks. I took the alternator and regulator to a rewind shop who told me that they couldn't bench test a "magnetic" type alternator. Went to the local tractor shop (MF)and they didn't carry a replacement and referred me back to the rewind shop. The JD dealer is some 75 miles down the road and before I drive down there, could anyone give me any suggestion as to how to test the alternator or regulator to see which is bad or why it's not fully charging the battery? Thanks

Thanks to all who answered this post. I cleaned the battery posts, including the ground connection at the frame and the connection at the starter and wha-la it started!! :>).
