Hey Mark I was looking at your pictures and in pic #7 you have a box blade looking implement with a wheel carriage on it. Does it have a name and how does it work?

Well guy's I haven't been here for a while ,but while I've been gone I bought the Landini 5860 I had been asking about.<br>
I have to tell you that so far I'm well pleased with it.It is one hoss of a tractor.Been doing some pretty rough ground clearing with it and It will throw rooster tails with a 6 ft. double gang disk. The only problem that I have had is twisting up the drive shaft on my bushhog. I puchased a shaft rated for a 70 hp tractor when I bought my tractor and it twisted it into in a blink of an eye. May have to put a clutch on my bush hog.

I used to own a little Long 260c it was a 24 pto h.p. tractor and I did a lot of rough work with it. It was tough as nails. I had it for ten years and abused it in the pinetree thickets on a regular basis and never had a minutes trouble with it and when I traded it in on my Landini I got what I paid for it + $300.00
But as for your question on which tractor to buy,Cuz you just have to shop and figure which one melts your butter.Get the most tractor you can for your money and take care of it and it can last you a life time.

Mark I know that I may not have the background that you may have in the tractor field,but the things that I stated comes from the owners themselves and the dealer I mentioned is a relative with no reason to mislead me on his reasons for dropping them.I,m sorry if I offended you by offering my thoughts on this issue. I will surely show more respect in the future.

I don't know what you mean by electronic hitches or rail injection.The tractor does come with shuttle shift & dual hyd.outlets,540 & 750 pto.

KWS I,m a kinda build it yourself guy,and some what of a struggling dobber when it comes to welding.There are several affordable portable welding machine's out there that would do most anything you would like.As for your wife tell her that you need a portable GEN. in case the power goes out. Are you planning to do commerical backhoe work? If not you might consider just renting a backhoe to do what you need.<br>
It sure is a lot of money to spend for 1 or two holes,and digging a footing.From the chores you listed it looks like you only have a day or so's work for a backhoe.<br>
I think a 25 to 30 horse tractor w/FEL and bush hog and a box blade would do most anything you would like. I think you can buy several nice implements for the price of a backhoe.

It doesn't look like anyone has much knowledge of the Landini line of tractors. I did talk to one person today that said that in the 50 H.P. range that they would out work any others in that range,but that is just his thoughts
on the matter
