The implement discount is posted on the deere web site. There are a number of unpublished dealer incentives that you can not find anything about without getting numerous quotes or simply having a salesperson slip.:)

Dennis,

Just sent my payment in via PayPal and should have done it a month ago or so when I found this jewel. As many have said if by getting experienced advice can save you pain on decision, money on purchase, money on preventitive damage:) it is well worth it.

We are not talking about toys here(well it will be my toy) they cost a considerable amount of money and can do some damage for the newbies....

I too have decided on the 4110. Going with the FEL, BB and the 60MMM, HST, Turf. A word of caution on waiting. My dealer did not have an extra 4110 in stock and while there was one on the lot it had been sold and was in prep. I ordered mine Monday of this week and was told it make take over a month to get in. While other dealers had a few they have been left outside and the hoods showed that as well as some surface rust on the metal portions.<br>

Also, on the 60MMM Deere has finished their run for those this year so they will not get the production of those out until(starting) January so it could take til spring. That being said I have call 9 dealers within 3 hours driving and while a few dealers had them they are holding em for their tractors. I did run across a used MMM for 1400.00 which really does not sound bad. The dealer said it was like new.<br>

I am also beginning a home building project on 5 acres and will get a lot of Utility use out of it before the grass comes back in the spring.<br>

You probably have to figure if they are going to send a truck out of Georgia its going to be loaded. So the question is not how many states but how many dealerships the driver will have to stop at on the way.

I have a 4110 on order and don't expect it before a month. That way if it shows up early then great but don't want to get my hopes up too much.

Well after spending ions of time on research which everybody has been a great deal of help had decided to step up to the 4110 HST, FEL, 60MMM. Well the dealer did not have any in stock which was not a biggy. The two previous dealers I had looked at either did not have the package or have left their tractors outside all summer. Their service departsment were small and filthy so I settled on the last one.

Well here is where the problem started. My dealer said "Jeff" I think you have made the right decision "BUT" the 60 MMM is gone meaning no more to get. He told me that John Deere will not be making anymore this year and while they will make them starting in Jan2004 we might not see them until mid-year. First question is this guy full of it or what.

The only option I would have if I went with the order either for 4010, 4110 or the 4115 would be the 54 '' deck which they can still get. This deck is much more inexpensive but its like I can get the car I want but not the color

Are there any dealers out there that have a 60inch deck or how would the 54inch b in comparison... I know its only 6 inches but still...

I would agree with Doc.. I was at Home Depot this weekend and noticed the new L130 features a 23-hp, Kohler V-twin. This unit ran for 2100.00

Sorry for the confusion Doc.. the 2k increase in retail was for the 4110 not the 4010.
