i have had mine do that once before when i was on a steep incline. check the hydraulic fluid level, you may have picked up an air pocket that you need to bleed out

i have a 2001 m4900 with a frontend loader and a backhoe attachment while running the backhoe the hoses started jumping then i lost all hydraulics. i have put in more oil, took the line off on the loader control to bleed out air. after that didnt work i pulled the supply line off the pump(it had no oil in it) i took the feed line off then cranked the engine, it still did nothing.<br>
please help, i am hopeing that i do not need a new pump
