Get a cheap 4' box blade from Rural King, TSC, or Quality and level that trail the way you want. A box blade can be angled slightly with teeth down and will smooth that surface out.

According to the JD book, this would be the weights 2210 alone 1400 lbs, 62" deck with attaching hardware 350 lbs, 210 loader with 49" bucket, 536 lbs, totally 2286 lbs.

New Holland and in the red version, Case have a machine which is a direct comparison to the 2210 and priced very similar. I did like the looks, you can find it on the New Holland site. There were some features I liked better on the New Holland over the Deere, but the one thing that really stood out IMO was the thickness of metal on the frame on the NH vs. the Deere, for the Deere has much thicker. Not sure the added thickness is really needed, but it seems the frame is more ridgid on the Deere.

In Central Indiana, a 2210, 62" mower deck, and 210 loader sells between 12.7-13K. A tiller would add $1400-$1700.

There is currently on backhoe option for the 2210 through Deere or Woods. Chances are you would need to adapt something or switch colors.

There is no comparison when you match a diesel to gas in terms of raw torque. The 4100 will simply amaze you and leave your jaw on the ground what it can do compared to the 25hp gas.

I don't see $6000 plus difference for a 4110 vs., 2210 even though we are comparing used vs. new with new to new comparsion of $2500 difference (2210 outfit vs 4110). If you are considering that jump, then make it worth your while and get the 4210, which will either be the same price or just slightly higher than the 4115 and be a much greater jump between equipment and lesser to price.

Tom,

If the machine is off you should struggle to turn the steering wheel. While under warranty, I would let those guys fix it.

Around Indiana, the 2210 with 62" deck, and FEL sell for 13,000, so assuming he/she is using that number it's $6,287 for yours. I suspect from a dealer perspective it's dealing with the aftermath: a) this unit is not in high demand and many times jumped over to purchase an X485 (nearly a 4:1 ratio of 485's to 475's) and b) it's used, so the dealership must get it at a price they can move it against all the Deere promo plans. Saddly enough, you are essentially loosing the 3-point and blade. If possible, you should remove them and sell them individually.

You are correct, the arms are smaller on these units, i.e., the 2210, BX, (have not looked at the Massy), when compared to a traditional compact tractor.
