I could not read all of your post, however I can tell you that Brady is a great guy. I also worked with him to purchase a tractor and I live in PA. I have heard nothing but good things about his prices and service. If you have a chance to deal with him, I would highly recommend doing so.

I had this problem the first time I installed it. When it was new, it had no markings. I should have marked them whne disassembling it, but forgot in the rush. I had the valve that stays with the tractor. I need some advice on which hose goes to which line.

I think that the L Series would be some serious overkill for what you want to accomplish. My BX1500 will drag logs just fine and it has only 15hp. The B series would be better because of the ground clearance. If you are concerned with price also, you could look at the B7510. That tractor has more than enough grunt to haul logs, pull a box blade for road maintenance and move snow. The money you save could go towards more toys (maybe a tiller for gardening):-).

I have a bx1500 with a KK XB box blade. I have about 20 hours on it right now. With rippers it weighs almost 300lbs. The weight is no problem for the tractor. In fact I add 100lbs to it from time to time. I would not go any larger than 48" unless all you are planning to do is grade horse corrals. My BB ran me about $350 from TSC. I could not bring myself to spend $600+ on the other brands because I will not be using it that much in the long run. Also, the KK XB models give you more lift height due to the fact that they are designed with the lower geometry of the BX line in mind.

I would use screws. Finished my 24' by 30' decl last year. 3 screws with pilot holes every 16". That was a lot of drill time. I used the ones from Lowes that are coated tan. Supposed to be that special coating (I am no expert). So far so good.

Are the TSC bought heavy enough to disturb hard clay. If not, can you throw something (rocks, blocks) ont top to add additional wieght?

Well, I bought the 48" KK XB this weekend and got a few hours with it. With 4 hours of use, I have no complaints. The 300# weight is plenty for my little bx and the construction seenms solid. I used it with the rippers down to pull up some rocks and loosen the soil, then with no rippers to smooth things out and prepare for planting grass.

I think that Kubota compares similarly priced machines so that you can see all the extras you are getting for the same money. Trying goign to the BX line for comparisons, and you will see a 2wd JDs that do not compare in standard features, however they are the same price.

This has been discussed mainly regarding gravel driveways, however I have a 150' long paved driveway and would like to use the FEL and 5' back blade combo for snow removal. Should I be concerned with the bucket or blade digging into the driveway. If so, is there an easy/cheap fix for this problem. I might add that I have a little Sub CUT, so the blade only weighs 200-250 lbs.
