I have OEM and highly recommend it. This is my second Kubota blower and I was very imperessed with the first one. I fully expect the new one to perform as well.

I test drove a 3940 without a cab, seems like a real nice machine. I am supposed to see the cab model this week and have a tentative deal to buy it. I really like some of the new features and plan on an FEL & snow blower. It will be BIG step up from my old Case 430 diesel !!!

The BX does a great job on snow in general. My new place has areas which have drifted up to 4' so I am opting for a larger machine to replace my old Case 430 and to clear the main drives next winter.

The engine temp is good and the engine oil is where it should be. Is it bad gas, bad injector, is the engine blowing up? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If you put gas in it you have serious problems.

Dig into your manual, the lift carraige may need to be adjusted if holding the lever does not do it.

I went and got out the hitch manual. From the manual " The hoses are connected correctly when the quick hitch lowers when pushing the hydraulic lever forward. If operation is not as desired, reverse hoses" from quick hitch manual page 16. They do not say which spool or reference the color code.

My dealer sold me a full size cat 1 Landpride with my BX and it was to much, I traded it back for the Landpride 5' for Sub CUT and it works fine.

I use Excel for such things but I think you can easily create tables for your needs in Word. In Excel you make a simple template with all the columns and headings you could ever want in about 10 minutes.

All the bx tractors I seen had the wiring and fuse just hanging in front of the oil filter. The first thing I done was remove the cowl and tie them up.

If you have a BP/Amoco nearby, check them out. The Amoco premier and power blend fuels are 50 minimum. I have used them for 30 year without the need for treatment. The fuel has most all the stuff in it that the additive provides.

I checked the manual and it appears to be a master fuse to the fuse block near the battery. If you remove this "connector" your whole tractor should be without power.

My bx1500 uses a banded belt and I do not think it could be put on wrong. There is no twist in it. It has to be routed much like a car with serpentine but is less complicated.

Are you doing the job with Wheel Horse you have listed??? I have a BX-1500 and it so much more tractor than any 2 wheel garden tractor. It is not much different than the 1800, i do not mow much on incline though, what little I have is no problem. I can't help with the PHD but I think you will need a shorter auger due to 3PH lift height on the BX tractors.

I think it should crank regardless of glow plug, check all the safety switches to be sure the pto is out, clutch depressed etc. Your manual should describe this operation. You may have a bad switch or starter.
