You might want to check out the previous thread on rotary tillers as it was helpful to me. Just a couple key items; Make sure your PTO HP is enough to operate the tiller sufficently, make sure the tiller is wide enough to cover your tracks or at least slides, gear driven seem to be popular however I think King Kutter and First Choice are chain driven and come highly recommended. Last but not least, Woods, LandPride, Frontier are well known for their HD tillers, but are more expensive. There are other high quality, not so dealer mainstream brands like CCM and First Choice that might be good alternatives, and they run around $1500 give or take depending on size!

I am looking for a 60" or so Rotary Tiller for my L3430, but am having difficulty deciding on Mfg. and Gear or Chain drive? I have looked at Kubota, Woods, KK and Landpride and all are impressive. I consider these to be the higher echelon. I have also looked at First Choice and CCM which I have read very good reports on both, and they are competitively priced. I will be skinning alot of grass for Patios and a Driveway, plus alot of landscaping over 5 acres. If money were no object, I would like to hear your preference? Value, however, carries more weight to me than just money, thus which route would you go for the best value?<br>

I have a Kubota L3430HSTC and am negotiating with my dealer on a Box Blade/Scraper. The Kubota branded one seems a little pricy, does anyone know who really makes this. I have also read where Woods, Midwest and Buhler make very strong box blades. I am getting a 72" one and will be converting a pasture into a lawn over the next couple of years, and will be maintaining a long rock driveway. Any comments or suggestions on the brands I have mentioned, and or some that I might be overlooking?

Thanks to everyone whom replied. I finally went with a Pioneer Stereo/CD with flip down face/XM Ready, XM Satellite receiver & Infinity Speakers. It is being installed as we speak, and, I took a suggestion from another thread and am having the rubber ducky antennae placed lying in the roof compartment as opposed to being attached to the glass. When it is all said and done I will have the following into it:
Stereo: $150
Satellite Receiver & connections: $70
Speakers: $65
Antennae: $20
Installation Labor (Dealer): $85
Total: $390

Not a huge savings over the Factory setup which was quoted at $550, but, I expect a much better system. Also, my dealer was really great to work with, especially when I suggested the antennae as he was unaware of setting it up as such, but thought it would make sense and prolong the life of it without trees scraping it from the cab.
