we are having a discussion at work ;-) about the propper setting of the clutch peddle setting. It is currently adjusted (by ware and lack of proper maintence) to engage when the peddle is all the way out (released). I contend that that setting is dangerous because the engagement is eratic and unpredictable in close quarter or delecate movements (backing up to a piece of equipment to attach to). I contend that the clutch should engage fully at no more than 50% of travel. The boss says it doesn't matter. Anybody have an opinion out there?
