there is a valve on top of the valve chest on some early long tractors. this might need a 24mm ring spanner to open it. Underneath is a small coil spring which locates in the valve which could be stuck. If you have a 3/16 or maybe 5/16 screw you can screw it in to the valve even though it is not threaded.you should be able to pull the valve out using the screw.The screw size may not be correct or your set up may be different.

does anybody have any infomation on a clutch kit to convert a 10.6 clutch as fitted to early long 560 or universal 550 (utb)to an 11inch clutch.
