Since I would only want my pasture bush hogged a couple times a year. Its never gong to look nice. It going to look like a field that was just bush hogged. Piles of cut grass everywhere. As I noted, It shouldnt matter how it looks. Its a field and your cutting down the weeds.

Most of the tow trucks use hydraulic winch for heavy duty applications but there are smaller bumper mounted hydraulic winches. Superwinch http://www.superwinch.com/ has them, I think warn and ramsey also have hydrualic models. They are similar cost to like sized electrical units.

I have been looking at putting a 3pt finished mower on my tractor and have a few questions. Ill be finsih mowing about 3 acres plus a couple acres of pasture.1) Is the 5ft Finish mower that tractor Supply Company selling any good? Who actually makes manufactures it? I know TSC rebadges lots of its products.2) The TSC mower I was looking at says lawn grass only. Now I can understand I dont want to be cutting small saplings and running through a field like I would with a bush hog but can I run it through the pasture with wild grass, a little alfafa, timothy and misc pasture grasses.? Would it damge the unit or just cut down the life of the blades. I am only looking at a couple of acres a few times a year and would hate to have to pay for an additional bush hog to to the pastures.3) What about king kutter finish mowers (look similar if not the same to TSC brand) 4) What about other sub $1k finish mowers? Money isnt going to allow anymore $$$ and cant find anything used locally.

Does anyone have any comments on the Bush HOG 1846QT front end loader.<br>Looks to be a semi quick attach loader. Price looks nice but wondering about quality and supportability.

I have been looking at building a wagon and found a kory 5 ton package. Front and rear assemblies, tongue, adjustable connecting pole and rims. Found a package for around $500. Anyone know of a better deal?

After several months of looking I finally found me a tractor. Look at all kinds of used hardware and now found what I want. A Used 1300hrs JD 970 compactr. It has a "slow attach" non JD loader on it. Now a need a few implements. Bush hog and finish mower. With approx 30hp at the PTO, what size mowers can I pull? Also what size rear blade is reasonable?

I have been looking at a JD755. It doesnt have any hydraulic outlets for a loader.<br>Any guess at cost to add the hydraulic outlets? Is a JD loader still available for the 755? What about 3rd party loaders? I want a quick attach unit.<br>

With the import banshere, I guess I better make my final choice. Anyone give me some input as to what each of these units would be worth YM1610, 470hrs, looks very nice, include tiller<br> Ym240, 500hrs, looks nice, no attachments.

What condition is the wife in?. I have a neighbor with a tractor forsale.he has a wife but she is high maintance and been nothing but trouble since he got her. Maybe he could trade his tractor for you wife and then sell off his wife locally?

Local dealer has a 7195 cub forsale. 730hrs, with 60" mower. Was used for personal land mangment by a local farmer. Only got to see the unit through the fence over the weekend, but it looks good. some mower deck scratches but thats about it.<br>What is a good value for this unit?Gary

I would say that you getting a tractor that is to small the BX are nice, but there just glorified garden tractors. You need to move up at least to the B class kubota, 4100 JD or similar sized tractor. 10acres could be a lot of upkeep and the BX is going to be to small in the long run.

Looking for a price check on a Kubota B6200, 2wd hydro. 780hrs 5ft kubota mower deck.Several years worth of filters,oil. Man was anal about changing filters. Looks fantastic. Has new never installed factory ROPS for it. Full service manual. 2 extra sets of blades for the deck with a brand new set on it now. Also included is a <br>4ft yanmar 3pt tiller, 3pt scoop blade.Any guess as to value of this package?

I am in the market for a compact tractor. I trhough the JD 4100 was the correct tractor but after taking a good look at the 4100 brochure I am not sure. My main need is for a mowing several acres of grass, several more acres of bush hogging. I plan on a loader but that will more than likley be a year or two out due to cost. I also need to do some snow removal.I noticed that the 4100 has almost no ground engaging attachments on the 3point besides the tiller.No rear blade is in the options list, The little 2 row planter is not an option and disk and cultivators are not on the list. Now I didnt think I could toss a 1ft wide disk on it, but a small planter? Whats up with the rear end of the 4100? Is it capable of digging into the ground? I have no immediate needs for ground engaging but being able to bust some soil would be nice as would a rear blade.What can really be put on the 3pt and why isnt JD saying there own items can?
