Not sure about your 2360, but my 460 has a reservoir under the hood for the power steering. Make sure it is full, and bleed your system if you haven't already. Hope this helps

Good guess, and thank you for your help. For a while, I rigged up a string to work the lever and it worked really well. Left the linkage off and just raised and lowered it by pulling the string--even put a binder on it so if I pushed the binder lever up, the arms lifted, if I released the binder, the arms lowered. Redneck ingenuity I guess, but that darn linkage still had me baffled. I finally just laid it in front of me and stared at it for a while. I knew something just wasn't right. I noticed a pin connecting the two main arms of the linkage. It wouldn't move, and I had just assumed those pieces were bradded together. I decided to soak that part in Liquid Wrench and see if it would move. At first I was afraid if it wasn't supposed to move, I might break it, but it finally gave just a little. I continued working with it until it was completely free. Now I had a completely different working linkage. Removed my trusty string, put the linkage back together and voila! It works! There's no telling how much time I've put into figuring out that problem and I'm so glad it now works!

Not only suitable, but necessary. Too heavy to lift without one. Makes it easy to put it back together also. If it doesn't want to slide back in, it's easy to raise, lower, or move side to side. Do not separate the final drive housing--not necessary. Remove fender and the 8-9 bolts that hold the axle housing to the main frame. Drain some of your oil before you pull the axle.

Brake installed! Never found any reading material on it, so I just had to figure it out. Here's the basics of putting the band back in. Put the "Y" bracket inside the housing. The bolt hole in the bracket has to face down. When both pins are put in, it will flip so that the bolt points to the rear. Place the band inside the housing---the end with the longer distance from the eye to the beginning of the brake pad goes on top, and should be put in first. A piece of wire or rope on the lower end helped to compress the band so it would slip inside the housing. The lower pin must be put in first. I used a screwdriver to pull the bottom end of the band up enough to put the pin through the band and bracket, then push it back inside. The next part was a bit tricky, but it worked. The second pin has to be put in through the round hole where the brake lever goes. I had to pry some from the bottom access hole to get it to line up, but finally got it in. After seeing how this went back together, I'm assuming the reverse would be true in removing the band. The pins have a small threaded hole in them. I'm not sure the exact size, but a screw will work if the pin is loose. Screw it into the hole in the pin and pull the pin out through the lever hole. If the pin is really stuck, you would need the proper size bolt. I hope this helps someone. It was tough to figure it out, but rewarding to see it done!
