I'm pulling the head now and will let you know what I find out. I wasnt sure what the compression should have been but knowing deisels fire from compression I new it was not good. If you dont know already keep a watchful eye on the rubber hytran hose going to the cooler below the air intake. From what I have been told the acid fumes from the battery make them fail prematuraly and from this has taken alot of life out of my tractor. A maintenance free battery is what I was told from a dealer is what should be used and not what was used from the factory which was a battery with caps.
