I have a b7500 with backhoe and love it. I really debated buying it at the time (almost 6k more) but I am glad I did. It comes in very handy.

I have not taken it off yet. I'm interested in the 15 minutes someone suggested...I'll have to give it a try.

$I have a B7500 and used the FEL this past year to clear the driveway - it worked okay, but not great. It seems to me it would work a lot better with a simple modification.... 1. one idea is to just clamp some wings on the side that allow the fel to push more snow without it spilling over the sides. 2. strap some kind of a plow on the fel that is angled. 3. strap a larger bucket on. Around here, the large parking lots (at malls and stuff) are cleared by large loaders that have snow buckets chained right onto the fel (anyone ever seen that?). Seems to me the same thing could be done on a tractor fel. Sure, it will reduce your lift capacity, but it is just snow and already weights a fraction of what gravel would way. Has anyone seen these kinds of mods used to move snow?$ BX for snow removal use your FEL or a blower

According to the manual starting the tractor and running it for 30 seconds bleeds out any air. Not sure how...since I know other tractors have a more complex procedure.

I ran it for an hour after getting it started and had no problems.

I purchased a new Kubota in June and am in the process of building my barn right now. So for temporary storage I strong a tarp up between a few trees. It has worked out well because it keeps the rain off but allows plenty of air circulation. The tractor is always bone dry when I go out to use it.

Mark,

Nicely done. Did you have to worry about stress on the loader? I thought about a similar approach but I was not sure that the loader is mean for that type of pull.

I recently purchased a 7500. I was looking at the BX22 but the dealer talked me into the 75000 and I am VERY GLAD. The BX is a great machine, but the ground clearance is about 1/2 of the B7500. I have 27 acres which is heavily wooded and has many rocks. Even with the clearance of the 7500 I have hit rocks - I think the BX would have had problems in my environment. I also got the 302 loader and the backhoe on the 7500. Cost difference was only about 2k.

One other idea is to consider using the 5 year financing instead of the the 3 year - yes, you pay 2.99% interest, but that is still excellent and if it allows you to get the tractor you want and will be happy with, it is worth it. That is actually what I did. I really wanted the B7500 but was not sure I could afford the backhoe. By switching to the 5 year financing the monthly payment was the same as the three year option with no backhoe. So for the last 2 years I'll pay for the backhoe.

I learned so much from this forum - just wanted to thank everyone. I was going to purchase a BX22 but decided to go with the B7500 - just ordered it with loader and backhoe. Should be delivered next week - can't wait to dig some holes!!!!

Jerry,

Which model FEL was that? "I got the B7500 with FEL, brush guard, R4's, and foldable ROPS for $12,150".

I was looking at a B7500HSD this week with the 302FEL and the quote was 12,550. Just curious if your was the same loader. That is a nice price.
