I have one on the 610's as well and had a similar clutch issue. I searched forever to find out why it wasnt disengaging the transmission. Come to find out on the left side is the linkage and it had come loose but not where I could see it and it need to be shortened so you could get the full push on the throwout bearing to get it to disengage. May not be your issue, but maybe it will help. Let me know what you find out. Thanks.

I dont have an answer for you. But I have a long 610 if you find anyone that works on these tractors let me know I have clutch that is going out.

As tempting as they are on price do not buy a long brand tractor. No parts, no mechanics. I bought one for the price and now I am paying for. Just FYI. Good luck on your search.

I changed the filter today and the hydraulic fluid was white. You are probably right on the water being in the fluid. Ill change out the fluid tomm. Do you know how much hydraulic fluid a long 610 will hold?
