thanks guys, you've comfirmed my thoughts plus given me the answer.i'm also buying a bush hog with it.i think it will help with both purposes.we just built our barn as well,so manuvering is very important and for the big or thick stuff i will do what i can and then make another decision. this being my first tractor, i don't want to be under or over sized.i like this site already.the deal i'm getting is a 2003 jd4115 with loader and woods teeth.it has 200hrs.r4 tires. good to very good condition. it will be serviced and hydrolic fuild changed. and he giving me a block weight with it. for 11,575.after my research, it sounds like a good deal.charlie
