I have a larger Cub 7532 with FEL and Backhoe
and
I have a oil pan magnetic heater. You place it
under the pan. It takes AMPS of power and if left
on for hours it will help in starting the diesel
at - degree temps. However, the cost is high.

I found that as long as you have a clean engine
and chassis the most cost effective heater is
a $75 torpedo kerosene heater. Aim it about 2 ft away from the front axle pointed under the engine. In less than an
hour the motor thinks it is in Florida not Pennsylvania.
No growley pump noises, no slow starting, no battery charging.

Plus the heater has a million other uses , one if which is
thawing frozen pipes in the house.

Before I suspect anything else I would:
1) Remove bat cables.
2) Wire brush posts and terminals.
Reinstall terminals.

Then put DC Voltmeter on terminals.
Watch meter and turn on lights
See any drop.

Then turn on key and see if any drop
Then depress clutch and start.
Note the drop.
Should only drop a volt or less.

Mahindra has taken over the 7532 cub that I own.
If they have an equivalent 7205 model
youll be able to buy from them.

My 2003 JM 200 had started to get harder and harder<br>
steering over 2 years. Stored in open side shed. I <br>
suspected the priority valve or engine hydraulic<br>
pump however, the 3 point works fine, fluid is clean,<br>
400 or so hours,.<br>
Cleaned P-valve replaced leaking steering cylinder<br>
with an american, and verified pump is fine.<br>

I now suspect the steering box (that never goes bad).<br>
IS IT POSSIBLE THAT IT IS A RUST PROBLEM IN THE<br>
STEERING SHAFT? How do I take apart column and <br>
grease it up?<br>

Is there any adjustment in the steering box for feedback?<br>
<br>
Steering feels about the same with or without POWER.<br>

I did not remove the PV or the pressure switch
on this first go round. I use carb cleaner inside
and flushed it out a few times. I loosened the
hoses to the cylinder and bled out the fluid turning
the steering left and right. I then held the wheel in one
direction and tightened the hose.
Steering is not where it was but it is improved.
I will bench clean the PV when I get down time.

What type of hydraulic fluid should I use?

What type of trans fluid?

Sounds good....

Now to disassemble the radiator/pump.

Have to get it running, the fields in
the northern Poconos are growing
great this year. And I do not want to go back
to my 9N (no live PTO)(no power steering)
(metal seat) to cut my grass.

I misplaced my manual for my JM-180.<br>
I never read that the water pump must<br>
be greased on a regular basis and after<br>
100 hours I need a new pump, belt, fan.<br>

I have a JM-180
after 20 hours lost oil pressure.
A $20 mechanical oil gauge
from NAPA remove old sender install
new sender And I now TRUST meter
75 Pounds start 30 pounds after 2 hours.

On the throttle control.
They all loosen up over time.
Just follow the linkage and you
will see where you can tighten it up.
