You're getting shafted by the dealer and/or his mechanics...that simple. Kubota makes a great product. Fortunately, I picked a great dealer and have been back to him only once, for routine service (the 50 hour one he gave free labor). Hope you get everything worked out.

I had the same problem on my L3710DT. The arms just wouldn't open wide enough for my Rhino SE6 or Pyramid box. The dealer's mechanic come out and removed the arms from the sleeve, cut about two inches off the back of , then reinserted. With pins removed they now swing all the way to the tires at any height. These arms were not telescoping.

I would need the 7 ft, 3ph type
I'm VERY happy with what it can do and I think finish mowing would be no problem. It's a little heavy for the yard but the field in front of the house would look great finish mowed.

I bought a L3710DT, mfwd, to bush hog with. It's tough as nails. I only have 40 hours on it so far but no troubles whatsoever. Don't think you'll go wrong with any of the ones you mentioned though. I just got a better price from a better dealer and went orange. Good luck....
